Air Force Delta,

Take this from guy that owns a PS, DC, N64, and a PC, and played almost every flightsim game out there. To put it nicely this has got to be the biggest piece of junk flight sim ever to be unleashed on an unsuspected gameplayer.Sure it sounds like it wold be an awsome game you get to fly almost every combat plane out there, but the sad thing is that they all feel generic. Another thing the graphics are no better then PS's AceCombat2, and the planes don't do no kind of aerial manuvers. The game is defenetly not a flight sim, and is a bad mockery of an arcade style game.If you're still not convinced do your self a favor and rent it first or better yet wait for a few more months untill Microsoft Combat flight simulator comes out on your dreamcast.

Air Force Delta - One of the best,

You probably heard about this game and wanted to get it right away, but looked at the reviews. Some of the people that wrote reviews saying that it was a bad game and that made you think twice, am I right? Well don't reconsider, it's a great game. There are 20+ levels and all kinds of enemies you have to ... and all different kinds of missions you have to fly and complete. Plus you earn credits after completing missions and that enables you to buy different and better planes to help you on your quest on defeatingf this game. So in conclusion to this game review, i say it is a good game to buy and you'll be addicted to it in no time.

Air Force Delta- Direct Hit!,

Air Force Delta is a fast paced, neckbreaking rush of fun. The missions vary from air to ground to flat-out dogfighting. Adversaries via plane are a true challenge! As you progress and earn money, you access to different planes with different levels of mobility, speed, excelleration, and defense. The down-side is that they do not vary enough. A deeper variety of planes would enhance gameplay i.e. vary weapon strength, lock-on length, and defense abilities. For the first Dreamcast fighter-pilot game, it is awesome. FUN!

I have played great shooters before and this game lacks everything a great shooter should have. I found the planes to be terrible to controll and I didnt like that the plane would fly at a specific speed no matter what. I like to have full controll of air speed not a set speed.

Not a good game at all,

A flight-sim full of over 2 dozen different planes; a great deal of missions; and its on the most advanced console system currently available (the Dreamcast), which means the graphics and sound will be un-matched by any other title in its genre. Sounds like the makings of an awesome game huh?Surprisingly, the answer is a most emphatic: NO. When I first rented it (I still wake up every day thankful that I wasn't foolish enough to buy it), I figured it would be an in-depth quality game with good gameplay. It wasn't any of those things. This game reaked of shoddy production values. The dogfights (which comprise a good 60 percent of all the combat in the game) were some of the most boring attempts at "action" in a videogame that I have seen in all my 19 years of life. You see some spot really far away, wait till its outlined by your plane's auto-targeting, then fire huge volleys of missiles at it until it is destroyed. No chase, no concentration, no significant chance of losing the fight yourself. Calling the guns on the plane "useless" would be an understatement. Calling them an abomination to aviation games is a much better description. If I had a million dollars, I'd bet it all that you won't find any use for the guns more than twice in the entire game. This all brings us up to the challenge factor: it is absurd. They just give you something like 40 missiles, which is way more than any fighter-plane could carry. Just keep on tossing those self-guided missiles at a target till its destroyed: no challenge there at all. The numerous planes were a big waste of memory. They give you too many, too quickly (usually one after EVERY mission), and they are all pretty much the same and have no outstanding features. The plot's weakness is matched only by the mental capabilities of those who created this game. It was fun for a while to fly around in such a richly detailed enviroment, but it soon became tiring. Rent this if you want, but don't buy it, not even if your a hardcore flight-sim fan.

A great combat game (which is what it's supposed to be),

This game can be either really easy or really hard, depending on the settings the player chooses. There are two settings that really matter in terms of difficulty: difficulty level and control type. Difficulty level determines how hard it is to take out enemy planes, how easily you get shot down, and how hard it is to evade enemy missiles. Control type is found in the options menu (when you select a mission) and has an even bigger effect. With the novice (defalt) controls, your plane automatically turns back to level after turns and you can't control yaw (rotational turn left and right) or invert. On expert mode, you can do anything: barrel roll, reverse illemans, REAL break turns, etc. The latter makes the already difficult levels nearly impossible (except for dogfights, which are much easier with expert controls). Secondly, the levels are incredibly detailed; at one point, you fly into an enemy base that is in caverns in a mountain. It feels like mission impossible. Finally, I don't know what people are talking about when they say that the plane you choose doesn't matter. It does. Just trust me. I would recommend this game to almost anyone. It does a good job of making levels hard for better replay value and allows you to some crazy moves with experts controls. Its best trait is that you can play it on two different levels: a plane-based shoot-em-up or a combat intensive flight-sim.

Airfoce Delta is a very fun game. If your looking for a jet fighter game you found it. It has realistic enviorments where you can blow up tons of things. you cruise at about 450-850mph. There is a large varity of aircraft. There are 20+ missions. Some you will fly in and blown the enemy or you'll fly as a escort. Over all I think this is a great game.

Actually, this was the first game I bought for my Dreamcast: as an avid Flight-Sim gamer, I wanted to check my new machine's capabilities right away. Sadly, the game proved to be quite a turn off. It's simply not there, reality wise; evidence of inferior Playstation level graphics are all over the place, especailly in explosion effects; but worst of all, I kept getting stuck in a certain mission, with no way out. Simply put, once you start with this one, it won't take you very long till you start looking around for replacements.Even the music track is horrible.

This game is enjoyable as long as you are not serious about experiancing a real air combat experience. personally, I liked it. on easy the controls feel pretty good and gameplay kind of brought me back to the good 'ol days of Starfox on the C-64. I had a hard time with the controls on expert, but it may be because I am used to flying with a flight stick on the PC. I Enjoyed the range of fighters to fly, and the varied terrains and missions kept me entertained. The graphics in this one are above average but a bit foggy at times. Fly through the cities, it's a kick!

If you love flying jets and blowing up things this is a game for you. But the bad part about it is that if you get stuck on one mission, chances are that you will get bored and not want to play anymore. I reccomend renting this unless you love this type of game.
