I have one of these in my bedroom. It is extremely efficient and completely silent. It gets a bit hot on top, but it doesn't seem to be a problem. It also has a blue light - you can regulate its intensity or simply turn it off. It is a really good product.

I've owned this product for a couple of years now. I like it quite a bit, and I'm considering getting another one for the living room. It's true that it takes a long time for the air to get completely cleaned out because it works slowly, but it's silent, efficient, and small. I don't mind the slowness. I only mind the extra heat in the summer, but it's OK. The instructions state it gives off about as much heat as another body in the room, which seems to be true if it were a small body. I recommend it for anyone who wants a not too expensive purifier.

This machine successfully removed the aspergillis mold from my room. I have serious lung disease and am highly allergic to mold- i did a mold test before and after having it in place for 1 week- and it worked wonders- mold was gone! i haven't even explored what other benefits it has, ie smells etc- i'm so happy with this result.

This product works very slowly and needs to be constantly powered on. Its so slow that if you unplug it , it completely ruins the cycle (per instructional manual).


Airfree's convection system is very weak. Not a product for serious gas and odor removal (as you may already know).
I got a real air cleaner after purchasing this weak junk. The airfree it's buddy on the side. Get a Real Air Cleaner (oreck).
