This product did not work as hoped. Spray pattern disappeared after refilling the container only 3 times (less than 1/2 hour usage time). I was using a clear water seal, not even a pigmented paint. Cleaning the tip and filter did not help. As a separate issue, also know that the instruction booklet says that this sprayer cannot be used with latex paint.
HOWEVER, the Amazon vendor, Jack's Tool Shed, was fabulous. I sent them an e-mail and they called me back within minutes. Jim was professional, courteous and sympathetic. He issued a credit for the defective product. I absolutely recommend Jack's Tool Shed to everyone.
I averaged to get the 3 star rating. The product gets a 1, but Jack's Tool Shed gets 5+ stars for their terrific customer service, which is the true measure of a company.

I do not think it's worth anything.
I read the instruction carefully, measured the density of the stain and started to paint a wooden fence using this paint atomizer. First, it's no easier or faster than with a roller. Second, it changed the sound in about 15-20 minutes, the spray regulator fell out and the thing stopped working. Do not buy this item, this is money wasted.

It took a while to figure it out however once i removed the filter in the cup, it worked like a charm!
