This review is from: The Paper Airplane Book The Official Book of the Second Great International Paper Airplane Contest (Paperback)
I bought this book thinking it would be great for children and young adults to make paper airplanes: airplanes more creative than the standard ones everyone knows about. I'm still glad I bought it, but I wish I had known that these are not the kind of paper airplanes you create from simply folding paper; these are airplanes requiring lots of cutting, scoring, gluing, etc. They're almost more like the foam airplanes you can buy at the store.
It's still a great book, and could teach kids the principles of paper airplanes. These are probably too high tech for most children to make though. |
