Airport Mania 2 wild Trip
Earn more than 40 trophies

Please make sure your seatbacks and tray tables are in their upright and locked position. All Android devices must be powered on, and ready to assist in the landing, loading, unloading, and runway management of all aircraft. Please prepare for Airport Mania 2: Wild Trips.

Return to the skies and get back in the pilot's seat in this sequel to the hit time-management game, Airport Mania.

Earning Your Wings

Learn the tools of the trade by attending Air Traffic Control Academy. This tutorial allows you to practice before joining the big leagues. Land a plane on the runway, take it to the gate, unload and reload it, and then send it off to the sky again.

Time-Management Gameplay

The birds-eye view of the airport provides you the full scope. As a plane approaches in the sky, tap the plane and then tap the runway to land it. The objective is to get each plane landed, parked at a gate, unloaded, reloaded with new passengers, and off to the skies again. You will prompt these activities by simply tapping the plane and then tapping the next necessary activity in the sequence.

Becoming a Veteran Pilot

As your skills improve, fly all kinds of aircraft like military jets and spaceships. Journey through nine airports, and master 79 levels.

Awards and Combos

Earn more than 40 awards for handling a variety of situations like a pro. The Presidential Distinguished Service medal is awarded for flying the President. A Master Matcher medal is earned for using your gates efficiently. The Smiling Happy People medal is earned when you keep a smile on four or more of your planes.

Combos can be earned for back-to-back activity, such as landing planes close to one another. Combos are also earned for matching plane color to gate color.

Music and Animation

Flying the friendly skies should make you smile. The detailed and colorful interface is cheerful and active. The cartoon planes express their emotions on their animated faces, and make cute noises as they fly in and out of the airport. Light music encourages you through the journey, and adds to the cheer and delight of the game.

3.0 out of 5 stars How to retrieve saved game data after update January 12, 2012
By C.Marek

After the update, people have said they lost game save data. I have beaten the game. So I did the update, opened the game, clicked play, and all the levels were lost. I went to the players tab, clicked on my name, and clicked load. Then went to the level select page and a 10th level was added after the update. Worked for me no problems, hopefully it works for you.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love this game! August 12, 2011

I'm so glad Airport Mania 2 is on Android now! Been waiting for so long!\nI had the first one, Airport Mania: First Flight, on my iPod Touch and loved it there. This app is just as good (performance-wise as well as graphics) only better because now you can travel around the world! Great casual game, decent amount of levels, good music and graphics, and I haven't had a problem running it on my devices at all! Good job developers! Hope to see some updates as well!\n\nDevices: \nNook Color running on CyanogenMod7 nightly builds off microSD card\nGoogle Nexus S by Samsung on stock Gingerbread 2.3.4

5.0 out of 5 stars **Finally a fun game not full of spyware!** February 19, 2014

FINALLY, Amazon has replaced the FAOTD with this one! And it's NOT full of spyware!

No, this isn't a NEW game, but it is a FUN one. If you haven't played either of the Airport Manias, you may be inclined to think the game LOOKS like child's play at first glance. Believe it or not, it actually gets very challenging with the different goals you receive as you graduate to higher levels. You do NOT want to SKIP the tutorial on this game or you'll pull your hair out trying to understand what to do! Just attend Air Traffic Control Academy by playing the tutorial. I actually played through the tutorial twice, when I started, because I sucked! Once I got the hang of it, it became rather addicting.

You perform combos of landing planes, loading/unloading passengers and taking off again. The graphics are pretty decent for this type of time-management game too. I like the cartoon-like planes, and the little sounds they make are cute as well. Check out their facial expressions when you start to really make them angry! :D As you graduate to higher levels and earning awards, you are able to fly all kinds of different planes.

I recommend giving this FAOTD a shot. If you don't have time to sit and learn the game right away, then just save it for a rainy day while its FREE.

4.0 out of 5 stars So good it's app of the day - again - July 18, 2012

"You purchased this item on September 8, 2011"

Is this the exact same item as last time? Amazon seems to think so. Not a bad little distraction, but would have preferred seeing something new as opposed to last years game again.

3.0 out of 5 stars It's fun, but don't bother if your vision isn't great September 13, 2011

This is an enjoyable game, but I've hit several levels that I can't play at all. Sorting planes by color is a big part of the game, but many of the colors are close enough that it's impossible for me to tell them apart. Some levels give you planes that are four shades of the same color, and while it's easy to tell light and dark, trying to distinguish between light and slightly lighter or dark and just a little darker gives me a headache. I've given up.

There are four color palettes to choose from, and you'd think that would solve the problem, but each palette repeats the same problem with different colors. One has several different colors but four very close shades of blue, the next has four very close shades of green, another has four very close shades of pink.

If you do badly on one level, that affects the play of the rest of the game. (You don't earn enough money to buy the things you need to continue.) If you like this kind of game and have 20/20 vision, go for it, it's an entertaining way to spend some time. If you're like me and you have to squint sometimes, skip it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great sequel to a great game! February 19, 2014
Verified Purchase
For those of you that had previously seen a different FAOTD today, you didn't miss anything. Amazon has done a great service by discontinuing it and offering this fun game.

We have the first Airport Mania app and this sequel does not disappoint. It is a time management type of game where you get planes ready for takeoff and landing. Cute graphics, not awful permissions and a fun game that everyone from preschool through adult can play. Easy to understand, controls that are not difficult to work, and levels that are challenging, but not impossible.
Definitely get this one!

1.0 out of 5 stars Company ran by amateurs January 4, 2012
Verified Purchase
Company issued an update that wiped all user data. The only way to fix it is to issue another update that will once again wipe all data. Company has absolutely zero understanding of how to deal with customers or write programs that work correctly. DO NOT buy this game or any of their other products since you have no way of knowing what an update will do to your program. Stay away.

It has the same set up as any Time Management game, placing the planes at certain docks and color combo's etc. Though once I start playing it takes me forever to put it down. Read more

I don't get it. How is this different from the first one?
From what I've played so far, it is very similar to the original. The graphics are a tad nicer (but not by much) and the game play is nearly identical. There is a new "luggage" place that planes have to go to sometimes (similar to repairs and gas). A great addition for those of us who... Read More
