Product Description

The G&G Full Metal Gearbox Combat Machine M4 Raider w/ an integrated metal rail system and full-length M4 barrel is a high-quality, high-performance Airsoft AEG rifle that is affordable at the same time. It is basically G&G's take on the iconic M4 RIS rifle, and features many of the high-end features normally found only on much more expensive G&G Top Tech [$350+] models. The CM M4 Raider comes standard with a 4-point retractable crane stock to allow nunchuck-style battery storage, making it extremely versatile. With the stock fully retracted, it packs a fierce punch in indoor/CQB games meanwhile with the stock fully extended, it can still run with the big boys in outdoor games. With a muzzle velocity that easily overpowers Tokyo Marui AEGs and a reinforced high performance full metal gearbox, the G&G CM M4 Raider is a force to be reckoned with out on the Airsoft fields. It has been engineered to be compatible with Tokyo Marui and many other aftermarket upgrade parts, and thus it is a modular platform on which customizations and upgrades can be done with ease. G&G has reinforced the build of the gearbox to be on par with their more-expensive "Top Tech" line of $350+ AEGs, making this M4-RIS Raider an amazing value. In addition, the internals have been enhanced right from the factory to deliver an extremely high rate of fire [ROF] right out of the box; users can take advantage of 900-1000 rounds per minute using a 9.6v battery! Add a precision crafted barrel that enhances accuracy and minimizes barrel wobble, and you have an amazingly SOLID fully automatic railed M4 AEG w/ a crane stock at an unbeatable price. The barrel length is that of a full-size M4 Carbine, aiding in both accuracy and power delivery, as making the weapon a full-size rifle as opposed to a compact M4.

Oh yeah this gun is freaking Amazing.

The only thing I could say(and it would be very knit picky) is I would have liked the port cover to have opened when I charged the handle.

I've owned quite a few aegs from aks to m14s to m4s and this is by far my favorite.

This was one of the first airsoft guns I've owned. I can tell you its amazing. I slapped on a fore grip and laser and was kicking @$$ with my friends and airsoft arenas. Great gun and I would recommend it to any body playing airsoft.

--Pros--
-enexpensive
-durable
-polymer body

--Cons--

Started playing airsoft just a few moths ago with one of those 'specials' from an Oriental store in the mall. You know the ones: that half price deal you got in the mall that was $50 more than you found it online later on. Oops, and lesson learned.
Used that along with a $5 spring pistol, later got a CO2 GBB (Gas Blow Back) pistol, then swapped for non-GBB CO2 pistol. Target practice in the backyard with pop cans, one really good war with 20 or so kids, and a few little skirmishes and I've learned what I could along the way.

Anyway, finally decided to spend a couple bucks and get an 'intermediate' gun and decided on a rifle. This seemed to be the right choice, and after two weeks of moderate use it certainly has not been disappointing. I have not played any war games with it yet - will try to update with any relevant info when I do.

Had to purchase a battery and a charger for mine, picked up the 1600 mah battery (guy at the unnamed store said each mah is fairly equal to one shot, so 1600 mah = 1600 shots on each charge - seems to be about accurate after going through 2 charges on the battery).

The included hi-cap mag holds 450 rounds - reloading during game play is a thing of the past (depending of course on game duration and ammo use).

You have to wind a little gear at the bottom of the mag which winds the spring and loads maybe 200 bbs each wind - this is a bit of a pain because it's tedious, time consuming, and noisy (takes 15-20 seconds if you 'rub' it on a wooden 2X4 back and forth like an old wind up car - seems to be the fastest way). Sometimes the spring makes funny noises during, after, and occasionally well after winding it up all the way.

I love this rifle! The only thing I could say(and it would be very knit picky) is I would have liked the port cover to have opened when I charged the handle. Instead I have to use a finger nail to open it.
This seller is reliable and exceeded my expectations.

Right off the bat, this is the greatest gun I have ever owned. I have owned 5 previous guns and this blows them away. I am an intermediate Airsoft player.
Pros:
Terrific fps(375-390 out of the box)
Durable(polymer body)
Comfortable
Reliable
Perfect

Cons:
None I can think off

Recommendations: I recommend anyone looking for an upgrade from a previous Airsoft gun. This easily competes with high end $250+ guns. Highly recommend.

Tips: Although I said it was durable, don't think you can drop it on concrete and stomp on it and cry to the company about how it was a low end quilaty gun. 2. Get a smart charger.( Extends battery life and will not overcharge your battery and fry it. 3. Only use high quality BB's. 4. Take care of your gun. When done using it take out the clip, release BB's, take off butt stock battery compartments piceces and leave off(don't lose the pieces), but stock on lowest level, clean barrel, check for any exterior damage((take care of immaditaley) if any), store all parts in dry place.

Overall: Highly recommend this gun to anyone.
