I ordered a Air Tamer A302 to wear on a recent flight. I did not get sick afterwards, which is not the norm for me. If someone is coughing/sneezing on the plane near me, I get sick and this time I did not! I have severe allergies & I have been wearing the Air Tamer A302 since I purchased it. My allergies have vastly improved compared to last year.

Filter Stream provides excellent customer service.

I ordered the Filter Stream Air Tamer a few weeks ago and it is amazing. My lungs feel a hundred percent better and I always keep it with me. Others who are near me notice the difference in the air too.
It really works!

I bought this a year ago mostly for my asthmatic son whom I didn't want to get sick on airplane flights. We have flown 3 domestic flights in the US since then and have not gotten sick yet. Although my son wears it around his neck, I think I do benefit from it just by sitting next to him. Then a couple weeks ago I flew an international flight to Dubai without my son. It was a 15 hour flight on a full airplane. There were sick people all around me coughing and hacking away. I thought it was inevitable that I would get sick also even though I had the Airtamer with me. Now a week later, I'm shocked to find that I have not gotten sick. This little item does indeed work! Amazing!

As other reviewers commented, this product really does work. At first I was skeptical, when I turned on the button, you can't tell anything is working, no fan or moving parts. I always get sick after travel and I travel on planes about 1-2 times per month, having used it on both short and long haul flights, I have yet to get sick. It's basic chemistry, but the ions that form a protective bubble around you do repel germs, viruses and other particles that are positively charged. I recommend the investment; just pick up a few extra batteries off the Airtamer website.

The item itself seems to work as advertised. The problem is that in the description it tells of needing 1 size battery. I ordered lots of these... They are the incorrect ones and don't fit..
I realize this description may have come from the manufacture but is an inconvenience.

Returned this item because it CAUSED headaches and bought a Mini Air Purifirer instead. The company that makes the AirTamer A302 were ethical to deal with and I wish their product would have been the solution I was looking for.

This review is mostly on the seller, New DaVincis and not on the product. I purchased the travel air purifier because I am pregnant and was planning on flying. I wanted some protection against germs while traveling because I typically get a cold, etc. Unfortunately, I found out a couple of weeks after purchasing this product that I was unable to travel due to my pregnancy.

I contacted the seller to see if I could return my UNUSED travel air purifier and they declined my request. They insisted that I had used their product for many weeks and would not accept returns on used items. I explained that I had not used this product at all, but they insisted again that I had. They did not accept a return, give a refund or even give a store credit. I think New DaVincis has the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE and I have had a terrible experience dealing with them.

I wish I could say something positive about the product, but I have yet to use is, so I really do not know if it is worth it the money . . . I definitely would NOT recommend purchasing this product from New DaVincis. Make sure you go somewhere else and check with their customer service first to see what their return policy is. You would think businesses would want to provide great customer satisfaction and not lose customers . . . I guess I am wrong on that : (

The difference between using this device or not is like night and day! I feel the freshness and coolness of the air and my eyes stop itching immediately. It's not just my imagination at work- there's a tangible difference. I highly recommend it.

I use this whenever I fly, and it is wonderful. Before I discovered this product I had a problem of contracting sinus infections when I flew. No more. I recommend this product to anyone.
