I am pleased with this body board, considering its price. It has met my expectations and I would recommend it to a friend. Any one who is interested in a decent board for medium performance body boarding should be happy with this product. If you really want to charge something heavy this board would actually work; however, it is best suited for moderate conditions. The average Joe will probably never exceed this boards limitations. Seriously your probably not hard core enough to push this board.

I'm an absolute novice but I had a great time using this product on a recent week long beach vacation. It stood up to frequent use with only minimal scratching on the bottom from running into the sand. Note that I think the 41" board is the shortest I'd get for a normal sized adult. I'm 5' 10" and about 180lbs and felt I could have a board that was a few inches longer to help keep me on top of the water. The least on these are fairly short, so as an adult you'll have to strap it to your wrist which isn't a problem since your hands will be at the nose of the board anyway. Check YouTube for a good introductory video on basic body board technique. You'll want some sort of shirt or rash guard otherwise expect your belly to be specked with sand rash from laying on the board.
