The narrow crown stapler works much better than the Porter-CableI used to own. I use it for installing 1/4" luan daily with no problems. The Brad nailer is good to , I use it to install shoe moulding. The job is Complete !!!!

Perfect home shop combination,

I purchased this set locally about a a year ago and used it to install metal shelf bracket rails in my pantry, a few science projects (small cabinets) and general whip up a quickie jig for my radial arm saw work. I is one of the handiest sets I have purchased in a long time, second only to my power screwdriver! They are light weight as advertised but this makes them nimble and I especially appreciate the easy to use double triggers (one is a safety, an added bonus if you have children around or are the least bit clumsy). It was stolen from my garage a month ago and I just bought another set.

Both guns have worked excellent for me. The brad nailer worked great for installing 3/4" thick oak trim in my house setting the heads nicely. Even driving a 1 9/16" brad thru a solid oak trim piece into a solid oak backer board. It was a life saver for installing my 3/8" thick tongue and groove wainscoat. The brad nailer also worked good for securing the corners in oak picture frames. The stapler was good for attaching chipborad to my garage wall with the staples setting nicely to give a smooth surface. Have recommended to my woodworking friends.

Best tool kit ever,
By A Customer
This review is from: Airy 241-626 Contractors Kit: Brad Gun & Stapler (Tools & Home Improvement)
The Airy contractor kit is another best value from Airy tools. Once again they have exceeded my expectations. The 18 Ga nailer in the kit is light weight and does the job. The 18 Ga stapler is also the same in performance. The durabilty on the tools are great and I have had the tools for about 3 months now. I have used it every day on the job site and the tools are performing extremely well. I definitely got my money' s worth. Airy tools is one of the best value in pneumatic tools out in the market today.

A Great Little Set,

I purchased this combo set to do odds-and-ins around the house. My first experence with the set was to put in shoe moulding and hang curtains on the 1X3 stock. The tools are light and small which lets you get in tight spaces. The shoe moulding job went quick with the brad nailer, the stappler soon left my hands and ended up in my wifes. She loved it! Her work went fast and smooth. Like I said, there both small so getting the stappler up above the curtains to stapple then down was simple. I will have to buy another set since my wife has snagged 1/2 of this one. Great buy, good equipment (even though it is from China) I would recommend this set to any DIY'er

Needs better safety features.,

This set is alright, but the safety switch is next to the trigger instead of on the nose of the gun. It will go off easily if your not careful. Your hand also gets tired from have to pull the trigger every time.

light action triggers and no stupid rubber tip to obstruct your view of the work..also, a tip..if you shoot a brad and don't release the trigger right away you totally eliminate the punch mark in the wood...for perfectionists like me ,we like that lolboth are light weight tools and out of every brand i've used (all of them) these fit into tighter areas.

Airy tools - low quality, buy "name brand" tools instead,
By A Customer
This review is from: Airy 241-626 Contractors Kit: Brad Gun & Stapler (Tools & Home Improvement)
I bought this kit, thinking it sounded like a pretty good deal for the price. Upon opening the box, I could immediately see why Airy could offer two air tools for the price of one of any other brand: low quality. These tools are made in China, which was not mentioned in the tool description on the web; that might have given me a better clue what to expect. Many things made in China are great, but tools right now aren't one of China's better quality exports. I am returning this kit unused, to exchange for tools of better quality.
