4.0 out of 5 stars Great starter trampoline
UPDATE 9-09: My son is now 10 and I have a 5 yr-old daughter. This trampoline has lasted through tons of use. We continue to find fun things to do with it. We have used it on the end of a dock to jump into water. It has been part of 'obstacle' courses. It is great for exercise and balance. The only thing that has given a little is the blue outer ring. We have used it on the end of a dock to jump into water. It has been part of 'obstacle' courses. It is great for exercise and balance. The only thing that has given a little is the blue outer ring. Not a big issue but with multiple children using it for over 6 years, there are some tears to the vinyl. Nothing a little duct tape won't fix! The trampoline base has no signs or wear or deterioration and the legs are solid and straight.

I bought this for my "just-turned" four-year-old son who, like most boys, loves to jump on the sofa, the bed and anything that looks a little bouncy.
It was easy to set up (it says you need three adults but my husband and I did it easily). It appears well crafted and durable -- time will tell.
The directions say that it is good for up to 200 lbs.
My 37 lb son had a lot of fun jumping right away, although he did not jump as high as one thinks of with a trampoline. But for a small, indoor trampoline, I don't think you want your children flying too high. I also think that as his weight and ability increase, he will get more bounce out of it.
My biggest reasons for buying it are the safety (no springs, padded edge) and the size. I can easily remove the feet and slip it under a bed.
On a really hot day, we can still burn off extra energy inside.
We put a chair at the edge (turned around) and he then had a handle to hold while jumping.
Safety is a big factor with any toy that increases the movement of your child so we went over all the safety rules before he took one step on. I think that any toy is as safe as its surroundings, supervision and appropriate use.
We also have the Jump-o-lene (an inflatable jumping toy). Although we enjoy that as well, it takes up a lot of room and requires a lot of push to gain any bounce. I am hoping this is the next step up in strengthening leg muscles and increasing one, and two footed coordination.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Product and Value, December 19, 2007

I use this minitrampoline for cardio exercise (jogging in place) when the outside temperature, or my knees, tell me not to run.

This is my second mini-trampoline. The first one used springs instead of the elastic bands. The spring design sucked. I trained for a marathon and put many hours on it. I decided it was unsafe to use after the 4th spring broke (from fatigue or friction - probably a combination of both). I bought replacement springs and discovered one needs a special tool or superhuman strength to put them on.

That's when I discovered the design was changed to incorporate bands, replacing the springs. Much better. I happily purchased the newly designed unit for which this review is written. I have put many many hours on this new "band" unit and so far no problems.

If you want a mini-trampoline, I can recommend this one. It is built like a battleship, but assembly is non-trivial -- you need at least two adults (the instructions recommend three) to fight against the tension to pop everything in place. No big deal, but you are not going to put this together by yourself -- you can hurt yourself if something pops back due to the high tensions involved. The instruction book could use larger and clearer pictures. The legs screw on, and one of the legs in mine was slightly out-of-round, making for some stiff turning, but I got it on. There is an 800 number to call the manufacturer for any problems. I didn't need to call. We like this mini-trampoline.

The instructions do not indicate that this is a possibility. No product this dangerous should require assembly. Be Careful.

My 12 year old daughter and I put together the trampoline in a few minutes. I use it for exercise, I watch TV or put on the iPod and run on it. Of course, the kids like to use it to jump. It is lightweight and easy to move around. Highly recommended.

I am a senior citizen who turned to rebounding in search of a simple and relatively gentle form of aerobic exercise. I weigh 140 lbs, and I normally do rebounding for 20 minutes every other day. I have had my Airzone 38-inch mini-trampoline for a month and am very satisfied with it so far, especially when comparing it with the Stamina InTone 38-inch jogger which I owned previously. Unlike the Stamina product, which had springs that began to snap in two within the first two months of use, the Airzone trampoline uses no springs. I consider the springless design much safer. Also, I find the Airzone's bounce to be noticeably softer than that of the Stamina, a plus for aging knees. The rubber end-caps on the Airzone's legs have not made black marks on my carpet as the Stamina's did, nor have the legs cut through the bottoms of the caps as the Stamina's did. I attribute this to a better quality of rubber as well as to a better end-cap design. The Airzone was not particularly difficult to assemble. My husband and I managed to do it in less than half an hour. The only drawback I've found in the Airzone is its lack of a handlebar, which the Stamina jogger had and is the reason I originally bought a Stamina rather than an Airzone. But not to worry -- the handlebar from the discarded Stamina fits quite nicely on the Airzone, so I now have the best of both worlds.

I bought this for my two special needs boys (4.5 and 2.5) and waffled between this trampoline and the Galt red trampoline with the handle bar. I decided to get this one because it's a few inches larger than the Galt one although it doesn't have the handle bar which would have been ideal for my 2.5 year old.

Pros: Both boys love it. The 4.5 yr old is getting his much needed sensory fix. The 2.5 yr old loves to get on it but because he doesn't know how to jump with both feet off the ground, he just plays or hangs out on it for now.

Cons: My husband and I put this together in roughly 20 minutes (it probably would have taken less time but my engineering husband was trying to figure out why the holes to bolt together the trampoline weren't aligned perfectly on one side). The directions weren't that clear and while they had b&w photos, it would have been nice if the photos were close-ups.

5.0 out of 5 stars as advertised, March 19, 2009

I am an able bodied 37 year old male. Despite the fact that (for legal liability no doubt) they say to have 3 adults with shoes on assemble this...I did it myself with no shoes on in 10 minutes. Simply connect that two 'regular' set of joints together and then nest the 'special' joints together and stretch out the halves (I kneeled on one side and pushed the other side flat), then put bolts in and tighten. done (last steps are easy cover assembly and leg screw on).
works great.

5.0 out of 5 stars sturdy, April 27, 2008

Nice sturdy little device that works well. Bands are great - no wires/springs sticking out to scratch or poke you which makes it safer. I read the reviews before putting it together - it did take three of us, one healthy strong guy and two not so strong women, so I am sure that two relatively strong people can put it together. It only took 10 minutes to assemble and it was pretty easy to do, but CAUTION - watch your fingers - communicate so that someone does not stick his/her finger in the joint while someone else is opening the trampoline. I could see how someone could lose a finger if you are not careful.

I suppose it's a little premature for me to review this; we've only had it for a day. But... why not?

I bought this for my two young kids, since I don't plan on ever getting a full-sized outdoor trampoline. Safety factors aside, those things do terrible damage to one's lawn.

So, I got them this one. And they love it. As mentioned in other reviews, it is tricky to assemble; the instructions recommend three adults. I managed to do it solo, but with difficulty and an element of physical risk. I'm not sure if users are expected to disassemble the trampoline for transport, but I have no intention of disassembling it for any reason.

Considering the price, and the free shipping that was in effect when I purchased it, I'd say this is a nice trampoline - especially for kids.
