5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful for Mommy (or Daddy) and a small child!, April 1, 2003

This is a great toy for a small child. I just got it for my highly energetic daughter's 3rd birthday, and she loves it. It's great bonding playtime, too. She always wants me to jump with her. Best of all, I'm burning calories while we have a blast!! I gave it 3 stars for educational because it's obviously not teaching the alphabet or anything, but it's teaching balance and coordination and spatial reasoning. Since it's less than 2 ft tall, she doesn't get hurt when she falls off of it (and she has...several times). She just giggles and climbs back on. I would highly suggest the enclosure for a child who was big enough to REALLY bounce, but for a small child, I don't think it's a requirement. It's no more dangerous than falling off a couch or something. All in all, WELL worth the money!!

I call this the "miniture" trampoline. It is great, My 5 yr old daughter love's it she jumps like crazy, she wanted a trampoline, but me and my husband decided she was too small for the bigger ones and to big for the basic little exersice one so this is perfect!! Easy for her to get on and off and if she were to fall it's not too far from the ground. Great for just her but enough space and can fit up to two 5-6 yr olds.
Worth the $$$$$.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best backyard toy ever!, November 6, 2003

We have a slightly sloped yard so I was hesitant about getting a trampoline. We tried it, and it works fine! My kids love it! Of course, like any other toy, they take it in spells but it still gets used alot after 6 months. I was also concerned at first about them falling off of it. I almost bought the enclosure to go with it but I decided to wait and see how high they jumped, etc. This trampoline is so small, they really can't get a lot of "air" so they don't do flips and other dangerous tricks. It's also very low to the ground. I am glad now that I didn't get the enclosure. We don't really need it. I would recommend this trampoline for younger kids. The weight limit is 120 lbs so it can't support larger kids. Also, since it is so small, we only let our two preschoolers jump together. When we have guests over, it's one at a time. I love it that my kids want to be outside so much. This is better money spent than on video games, in my opinion!
