Kippei Katakura is a 17-year-old playboy. When his 5-year-old cousin Yuzuyu comes to live with his family after her mother disappears, he is suddenly in charge of taking care of her. Kippei's main occupation changes from tending to his high-school girlfriends to picking Yuzuyu up from kindergarten and making her lunch. Soon the two are getting along like peas in a pod, but the girls at his high school miss their "quality time" with Kippei.

Yoko Maki was born July 11 and is originally from Kagoshima Prefecture in the south of Japan. She has a pet dog named Leo. Her hobby is blowing soap bubbles. Maki claims that one of her skills is passing quickly through a crowd of people. She debuted in 1999 with Love Service in Ribon Original.

AiBaby v.6,

Circumstances in AiBaby start coming to a head as Kippei's older sister makes one last effort to make Yuzu's mother take her child back. Yuzu overhears this and starts to forget about her mama.
Viz can only be praised for bringing N. America titles such as this, and for being able to even start a "shoujo" line of manga. To be sure, there are some problems with the printing reproduction of this title, but the proofreading and typesetting is excellent (not perfect, but who is?), and they have remained faithful to the original cover art. I continue to be dissappointed in all major manga publishers for not reproducing interior colour pages *in* colour. Surely Viz, who is virtually printing money with their shounen titles, has the money to do a few pages in colour. Still, the salient point is their ability to expand their line of titles, bring us great stories such as this, and not overextend themselves, such as ADV has done.
