Aiwa are owned by Sony,

I hate to break the news to the previous reviewer of this product saying they will never buy Sony again. Please check your user manual, you will see it says (C) Sony Corporation, Aiwa are now full owned by Sony as of 2002!. Products are very similar too. I myself have a Aiwa X-REM 220 micro for the kitchen and find it to be excellent value/quality.

This system does everything! It has CD, radio, and tape functions, the reception is good, the remote control and the system itself are easy to use and read... plus, it looks good in any room. Aiwa has created another fantastic product. I'm never going back to Sony.
