Aiwa's CSD-FD92 boombox offers a top-loading CD player, single-well cassette deck, a digital AM/FM tuner, and four-speaker surround sound. The CD player features CD-R/CD-RW compatibility, programmable play (16 tracks), repeat play (one track/all tracks), and CD-to-tape synchro dubbing.
For portable use, the system requires eight size-D batteries, while a supplied AC cord gives you continuous play at home. An integrated, telescopic antenna handles the FM reception, and an internal antenna receives AM broadcasts.
The Aiwa CSD-FD92 ships with a remote control, and it comes with a one-year warranty on parts and labor.

I have purchased other Aiwa products in the past and this one didn't disappoint me in the least.It is a bit heavy but the reproduced sound is very good.The sound output of the cd,tuner and cassette are all excellent.The quality of Aiwa products has always been consistently very good.This product is also of high quality.I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good value in a cd portable under $.

The sound quality is excellent for the price range. Great for a small room. This unit has a lot of features that are only seen in models costing ...more! cd-r & cd-rw compatible, autoreverse cassette player.

I recently received the Aiwa CSD-FD92 and am VERY satisfied with my purchase. It is an excellent value considering the great sound (best I've heard in a boom box) and the extra features (incl. remote, able to modify sound to pop, rock or jazz, etc., etc.). I plan on buying more for other members of my family as they all want to borrow mine! If you're looking for a reasonably-priced boom box with great sound, you won't be disappointed with this item.
