Features include a top-loading CD player, analog AM/FM tuner, and stereo speakers. Time and CD tracks are displayed on a green LED display. Snooze and sleep timers are also included.

The FR-CD1500 is 6.75 by 7.6 by 8.25 inches and weighs only 6.2 pounds.
