Took a beating, kept on bleeping,

I've had this clock radio for over 10 years. No alarm clock in the world takes the beating this does. I drag it off the counter in sleep, slam the snooze button, drop it on the floor, and generally mistreat it any way I can. Last month the radio FINALLY stopped working. But the alarm still works! Reluctantly, I am going to get rid of this wonderful clock--I'll probably give it a private burial--but I doubt I'll find anything of this quality in 2006 for the price I paid for it (comparatively), back in early 90's. I hope I can find another quality Aiwa product.
