Excellent Sound Quality,

I have had these babies about a week now and I have to say that I am very impressed! They were very uncomfortable at first until I realized that you have to push the neck band all the way up. Once I did that, I can barely tell that they are on my head. Now for the sound. I was so impressed with the sound reproduction. I have tried other brands/models of headphones and compared to the sony & philips earbuds, these are amazing! The most noticable difference is in the bass. Usually the bass in headphones is non-existant, but not here, these things have nice rich bass; so mush that I had to turn down the bass knob! I also tried these things out at the gym and they are great. They stay firmly on the head while running/cycling/climbing/etc. the only complaint is that they get pushed around a little when you go to do benchpress or something that requires laying your head on something. Another great feature about these things is the fact that the Wire only goes on 1 side. This is really healpful when at the gym, less wires to get in your way! I can also recommend for some people (like my Wife) that it might be more comfortable when they are turned upside down and then placed in the ears :-) I was really reluctant to spend [the money] on a pair of headphones but I am really glad I did. I give them 5 stars

Just a few quick notes-- don't underestimate the value on a single cord coming off one year-- it's really convenient and feels less "fussy" in the gym when I'm on the elliptical trainer. The sound quality on these is better than my old Sony headphones and, notably, these require less power-- I have to keep my mp3 player turned way down to "3" to listen to music comfortably; my old headphones required the volume up to "12". (And the volume goes up to 30, so I suspect most headphones are designed for the 12-20 range... meaning these Aiwa headphoens are very efficient at converting the signal to sound.) Anyhow, I love 'em, glad I got them.

These sleek headhpones are stylish and have great sound. The bass is boomin' and they're easy to put on. I have 4 pairs of headphones and these are the best or second best. The Sony MDRQ33LP are as good or better than these. It depends when I'm using the headphones. These Aiwa headphones don't let you rest back on stuff but the Sony ones do. They're both very comfortable and have great sound quality though. I find this headphone's cord a bit on the short side though.
