Excellent Sound Quality,

I have had these babies about a week now and I have to say that I am very impressed! They were very uncomfortable at first until I realized that you have to push the neck band all the way up. Once I did that, I can barely tell that they are on my head. Now for the sound. I was so impressed with the sound reproduction. I have tried other brands/models of headphones and compared to the sony & philips earbuds, these are amazing! The most noticable difference is in the bass. Usually the bass in headphones is non-existant, but not here, these things have nice rich bass; so mush that I had to turn down the bass knob! I also tried these things out at the gym and they are great. They stay firmly on the head while running/cycling/climbing/etc. the only complaint is that they get pushed around a little when you go to do benchpress or something that requires laying your head on something. Another great feature about these things is the fact that the Wire only goes on 1 side. This is really healpful when at the gym, less wires to get in your way! I can also recommend for some people (like my Wife) that it might be more comfortable when they are turned upside down and then placed in the ears :-) I was really reluctant to spend [the money] on a pair of headphones but I am really glad I did. I give them 5 stars

Just a few quick notes-- don't underestimate the value on a single cord coming off one year-- it's really convenient and feels less "fussy" in the gym when I'm on the elliptical trainer. The sound quality on these is better than my old Sony headphones and, notably, these require less power-- I have to keep my mp3 player turned way down to "3" to listen to music comfortably; my old headphones required the volume up to "12". (And the volume goes up to 30, so I suspect most headphones are designed for the 12-20 range... meaning these Aiwa headphoens are very efficient at converting the signal to sound.) Anyhow, I love 'em, glad I got them.

These sleek headhpones are stylish and have great sound. The bass is boomin' and they're easy to put on. I have 4 pairs of headphones and these are the best or second best. The Sony MDRQ33LP are as good or better than these. It depends when I'm using the headphones. These Aiwa headphones don't let you rest back on stuff but the Sony ones do. They're both very comfortable and have great sound quality though. I find this headphone's cord a bit on the short side though.

Excellent, practical, great for sports,

Over the years I have tried many different headphones for jogging and working out. This is by far the best. The combination of the fit, together with the in-line volume control, make it extremely practical and it provides great sound. The volume control on my first set is broken after 3 years (of hard-core use), so I am buying a new set. The best use was on the ski-slopes, where the snug fit was crucial, and the in-line volume control meant that I could just turn down the volume to talk on the ski lifts, without going through the whole ski-glove, ski-jacket, ski-hat routine. The only (very minor) drawback is that you can't use it to lean back against high seats, like on airplanes. I have a different set for that.

I'll make this short and sweat... they fit like a charm, and sound even better... You wouldn't expect such sound to come out of these little ear nubs... These JS35's are most defiantly your best buy for portable, lightweight headphones.Only one down side - they have the potential to become very uncomfortable after time...

This is a great product 25 dollars can buy. When my headphones got broken at work, I went out and bought this at radioshack during lunch after I read the reviews on amazon{.com}. Consequently I am very happy with my decision. The egonomical design and sound quality are its two top qualities. Unlike the earbuds I owned before, once this's in my ears, I didn't feel the need to keep pushing it in all the time. I could even hear clearly the piano playing in a mixture of the background music, that ususaly is a sign of good sound quality. There are moments I am just at awe with it's surround stereo quality. All in all, this is a very good product for a small amount of money.

Not worth it,
This review is from: Aiwa HP-JS35 Stereo Headphones With In-Line Volume Control (Swoops Style, Black) (Electronics)
After reading all the reviews, ordered one for myself from Aiwa for running and gym. First, the swoop was a little too long with no way to adjust the length, which lead to an uncomfortable feeling with headphones sort of hanging down and touching the back of neck (not the lightest of headphones too). I have tried a dozen other headphones and never had something that was so out of proportions. I guess they are desinged to be worn with some sort of head gear.Second, headphones rendered useless on day two of my workout with the right ear speaker giving up because of sweat, definitely not water resistant. The In-Line Volume control feature is pretty good (though the slider is a little hard to move esp. if you are running), only if the headphones had lasted a bit more. So far I have had better luck with Koss Spotclip and Sony MDR Vertical headphones for running/gym use. One thing I don't understand is why do all these sport headphones come with such long cords. For the two popular wearing configurations of around the neck or on the arm, the cord is just too long and gets in your way.

I highly recommend these headphones the sound quality is fantastic. I use mine together with my Nomad Zen Jukebox and it roxors my boxors. They are very comfortable and fit snuggle into your ears without the danger of falling out. They are extremely light but pack a huge punch. I had to turn my player down several degrees because otherwise I was in danger of getting an inner ear haemorrage. I listen to alot of dance music with plenty of pounding base, the aiwa headphones dont even get phased, no distortion and perfectly clear.

I bought these because I want a good set of phones when I go running, and these work great. They sound fantastic, they are super comfortable (when you put them on, turn the earpieces down so the neckband moves up from the back of your neck to the middle-bottom of you head), do not interfere with my head movement, they are super light, and the wire that comes out of one side does not flop around with my arm movement because the wire is stiff. I totally recommend these.

I purchased 2 pairs of these headphones 6 months ago. The sound quality and fit is excellent. I do have one complaint, however. For some reason, the right channel (the one without the cord connected to it) on both sets has faded and I cannot get it back to the same volume level. I am going to replace them with the same brand because they are so good in every other way.
