We purchased this system because it seemed to offer the flexibility and features we desired... like digital and cable interface. However, in no time at all -- after the warranty was out, naturally -- the disc changer stopped reading discs and seemed to develop a mind of its own.

It's time for another system, evidently. We won't buy this product again. I hate to say it, but maybe cheaper is better -- especially if you're going to be buying one of these every eighteen months.

I got this system 2 years ago. It has been the best Mini-system I've ever used, but I'm glad I didn't pay full price for it. It's a huge improvement to hear my video games in full Pro Logic, and the speaker system is ample. The only problem I had was that the center speaker got fuzzy. That's ok though because it has a "phantom" mode that emulates a center speaker. This system is perfect for somebody who wants a decent mini-system for not-too-much... if you get it used.
