Product Description
The Traditional Spice Box or a masala dabba as it is known in India is a must in every Indian kitchen. It is a small, round stainless steel box. Inside sit lidless, stainless steel cups, each holding one spice. The box has two lids - one to keep spices fresh and the other is the lid to the main outer box. The box also comes with 8 spoons. The box comes with ghee, snack mix, and the following spices: cumin seeds, turmeric, mustard seeds, whole garam masala, chili powder, fennel seeds, coriander powder. This box is to an Indian cook what a color palette is to an artist. The cook can take a pinch of this or a pinch of that and actually create recipes according to their desires, moods and seasons. This is packaged in a authentic batwa bag from India. The bag is made of 100% cotton, hand-block printed and created with vegetable dyes, giving the final touches to the Traditional Spice Box. The bag may be reused to package other gifts or to use as a personal bag.

I had sent this gift to a friend of my mine on her birthday and she was delighted. She will cherish this for the rest of her life. The spice box was excelletnly packaged. She also uses the bag that it went in as a purse. Love this!!!
