This is fantastic music!,

This review is from: Ake Doni Doni Take It Slow (Audio CD)
This eclectic mix of traditional African music, modern technology, varied instrumentation ranging from the accordian to the Indian tabla, as well as touches of blues, rock, reggae, funk and jazz, is novel, fun and exciting -- it evades easy characterization, challenges the listener, and breaks down musical barriers. But equally important, it's a pure joy to listen to. Each listen reveals something new, and with contributions from veteran bluesman Corey Harris and members of D.C.'s big afrofunk band Chopteeth, the sound is as full as it is fresh. Definitely check it out![...]
