Great cultural resource and mission education book for kids,
By A Customer
This review is from: From Akebu to Zapotec: A Book of Bibleless Peoples (Paperback)
This a great book with clever writing and beautiful original art of 26 different groups of people from around the world. Children can get a glimpse of worldwide cultures in a fun way. It's also a great missions resource. I've heard of churches using this in their Sunday schools, going over one letter in each class for 26 weeks.

The "From Akebu to Zapotec" materials from Wycliffe are excellent resources for kids, teachers, and missionaries alike. Other materials include an A-Z card game, a poster, an audio CD of the book, and a bookmark that covers prayer involvement. Other information is available through www.wycliffe.org or the kids web site at www.wycliffe.org/kids.

Provides awesome privilege to learn about people groups around the world that do not have a Bible. My 7 year old daughter and 6 year old neice loved looking at the pictures, reading the brief glimpses of different cultures told in an engaging way, finding their locations on the world map (provided), and praying for each people group to have a Bible in their language.
