Compelling and definitive portrait of a Poet with desperate and defiant words. Extraordinarily difficult times for most conditions during Russia's literaryhistory of the Twentieth Century. She thought St. Petersburg was a place of mystery and miracle. The Neva and its embankments, the Classical City, the Architecture, the Monuments, its Gardens - all caused fulfillment she was able to express in Poetry.
