I have many Akita books in my reference library but truely wish I had this book when I first became involved in showing and raising Akitas. This book has wonderfully discript photos and dialogue to take you through the proper grooming and stacking of your dog for show. It's not a big book but it is chalk full of the best advice and information I've seen to date. It is easy to follow and to read; clear photos and desciptions for discribing breed faults and correct breed type - a must for new Akita puppy owners. I recommend this book to all my puppy clients.

This book was a great read and we now have been using it as a reference. This was not our first Akita, but after reading this book, I now understand our beloved pet from the past. Our new addition is just as wonderful! The Akita is a great breed.
