This book gives a "brief" discription and characteristics on Akitas, but it has more to do with owning "any" dog than it does in dealing strictly with Akita's. Wouldn't recommend this book, if you want to know everything you can about your Akita

The first 32 pages of this book deal with information about the Akita. The word Akita is NEVER mentioned again in the remainder of the book. It is a general book on dogs with a 32 page Akita pamphlet tacked on to the beginning.

This book is the best one that you can get if you are getting an Akita. It shows you how to care, purchase, and keep your Akita healthy. I have a Akita now and sometimes use this book for refrence. I recomend this book to everyone!!!
