Akribos do not honor product warranty,

If you want to choose Akribos XXIV watch in part because it carries a warranty, please be warned that Akribos XXIV does not honor its warranty. It's been 1 year since I made a request for warranty replacement and I still have not received a response. I understand nobody's perfect, but not backing up your products -- unacceptable.
Mine keeps stopping and losing time for no reason.

I constantly get compliments on this watch! High quality piece, it's one of my favorite dress watches! The battery is still going but when it dies I might be forced to send it to Akribos for battery replacement. It doesn't look like the run-of-the-mill jeweler would know how to get into this thing.

Purchased this watch because it looked cool. When it arrived I was surprised to see how un-cool and cheap it looked. Returned it immediately.
