Sometimes a picture can't convey everything about a product. Once you see it, the item may turn out to be better than expected. Such was the case with this 64 drawer cabinet. It is well constructed and sturdy, as plastic things go. The drawers open easily, and have stops built into each one to prevent it from accidentally falling out when pulled open. I have seen some types of plastic that doesn't adhere well when labels are applied, but mine are staying on the drawer fronts nicely, even though I used removable diskette labels cut to fit. Each drawer has molded interior slots to hold a single divider across the middle. Unlike some styrene drawers whose slots are cheaply made and the dividers fall out, the divider slots on these drawers are substantial. Some dividers are incorporated into the back surface of the cabinet, to snap out and use if desired. But I just cut some from a regular cardboard box panel, and they fit perfectly. All in all, I am very happy with the cabinet.

I got this because I needed an easy storage system for all my beads. I have them organized by color and 64 drawers is plenty of space for all those small beads. The drawers come out easy too so I can grab a drawer, use the beads I need and slide it right back in.

It's a great item at a great price for all those small but much needed items.

It would work great for nails and screws and other small items too!

This cabinet is lightweight but sturdy. The only problem is that physics are still in control. if you pull out a drawer but the cabinet is not fixed down to the bench or the wall, it has the potential to tip over. Mounted to anything though, it's exactly what you would hope for. The drawers are slightly deep but they come with cut-outs you can use to divide them up into two compartments! Awesome.

The product arrived with broken pieces. The plastic stops that keep the drawers from falling out had snapped off six of the drawers. I'm returning this to Amazon for a refund.

It's not clear from the picture, but there is no real back to this cabinet. Extra dividers for the drawers come from what little backing there is so if you cut any out, that further reduces the "back". The plastic stops in the front are the only things keeping the drawers from falling out the front when you pull to open a drawer or the back when you push to close a drawer.

Basically this is a good value -- lots of drawers for a reasonable price relative to other products, and a useful size.

The product could be much better though, with a little more thought in the design:

1. It needs a carrying handle on top. I have another cabinet with a low-profile strap-handle that still allows stacking.

2. It needs a slot for sliding in a label at the front of each drawer. A simple additional divider slot at the front would do it essentially - just some little plastic bumps even.

3. It needs to come with plenty of dividers. Each drawer can be divided in two. The back of the unit has plastic sections that you can cut dividers out of, but it is work and there is a limited number.

4. It would be nice if the drawers could be subdivided even more times than two, but that's nitpicking for this cabinet which has a lot of drawers.

5. It is competitively priced, but still a lot of money to organize little things that might not cost as much as the cabinet.

Otherwise, a very nice cabinet for organizing lots of parts such as electronic resistors and capacitors.

Description is misleading in that it does not specify how many drawer dividers are 'molded into back -- so one believes there are sufficient -- when actually there are only EIGHT + eight large ones that do not fit (and should not be on this cabiunet). Seller was wonderful to let me order more dividers without paying extra shipping.

This drawer cabinet is just what I wanted for storing lots of small items. The cabinet is not that stable when free-standing, but I plan to attach it to the wall. A metal cabinet would be more stable but probably a lot more expensive. If you tilt it forward, there is a stay that tries to keep each drawer from falling out, but it isn't effective at greater tilts. But it's a good value for my needs.

I ordered two of these to replace the multitude of cabinets I used for my screws, nails and small parts in my garage.
The two arrived in perfect condition and without any problems.
Quality of the cabinet is quite good, it's well constructed and te materials are reasonably strong. Some people complained about the lips that prevent the drawers from falling off being too flimsy and breaking off. Mine were not all in perfect condition but they were strong enough that I doubt I would be able to break them with my fingers, so they might have upgraded the design after all the bad comments on this. As it is, they don't seem like they will be a problem.
The drawers are made from a more flimsy material, as others have said. It is not completely rigid, which given their lightweight construction might be an advantage since it would prevent cracks. I have filled them to capacity and they don't seem like they will be a problem. One downside is that, as others have commented, they are not transparent but translucent. You can see-through somewhat so you can recognize what's inside but if you have similar items in different drawers you will have to open each one to find out what's in them.
Some people have commented that the unit didn't come with enough separators. Given that the unit has 64 drawers I didn't find any need for separators. In fact, I would have hated if it came with more, as the separators come embedded in the back and you have to cut them out with some sharp scissors, which took a significant amount of work to do. Come on, a machine can do this for less than one cent, don't waste my much more precious time doing the job of a cheap cutter! I'm just glad there weren't more separators.
The drawers are of a reasonable size. Sometimes I whish they were slightly bigger so I can fit the contents of the typical one-pound box of screws, but if they were any bigger the units would also be bigger and they use up enough space already, so I won't complain about that.
While the unit has no solid back, it is clearly designed to be wall-mounted and if you use it that way it works just fine.

All in all a very good and spacious unit. Only the embedded separators and the lack of transparency in the drawers prevent me from giving it five stars.

I purchased 2 of these organizers to hold jewelry supplies and rings. They worked great. The drawer size is perfect. Plus they stack safely together(interlock)so they don't take up needed desk space.

This is one of the few drawer systems available, so your choices are severely limited. The shipping packaging consisted of two small sheets of brown paper to keep the item snug in the box. This was not good enough to protect the item. In addition, there are more than a few broken pieces on it. Each drawer has two teeth that keep the drawer from sliding too far back or forward. Out of 120 of these teeth, about three dozen were broken. The quality of the plastic used in this product is on par with the plastic used to make gallon milk containers, only three times as thick. Also, the surface texture of the plastic (bumpy) makes it difficult to adhere stickers to. Still, at its price point, it isn't a bad purchase and it definitely served its purpose for me. There are better products out there but you must be willing to pay double the money or more.
