I was looking for something I could grow into that also had a tripod pocket/holder for a price that didn't risk much. Well I found it, and then some! You get so much in one pack here... the tripod pocket/holder, pockets pockets & more pockets (inside and out), a section for your laptop, a rain fly just in case, lots of customizable sections for your camera gear (guess I'm gonna need to buy more lenses ;), and did I mention all the pockets?!!!
I'm sure, as another reviewer said, the inside velcro sections could be a bit better material (stiffer), but keep in mind the cost of this pack. The outer material seems like it will survive pretty much anything! When it first arrived I thought this thing was gonna be a bit too huge and heavy. But after getting two camera bodies, two lenses and an assortment of filters etc, as well as a jacket tucked away and my tripod loaded, and threw it on my back, it is very comfortable and not near as heavy as I had imagined. (I'm 51 and only 5'8". I would imagine it would be even better for young 6-footers, lol...). Besides now having an easy way to take EVERYTHING I may or may not need with me on day trips, I now also have my all-in-one carry-on bag for my camera & laptop, for air-travel!!! I'm super-stocked with what I got for the money and HIGHLY recommend this "pak" to anyone looking for a very reasonable camera/tripod/laptop day bag!!!

Go ahead and buy it. You won't be sorry. That said, allow me to mention my only problems with this: I have a Canon camera back pack that I outgrew, so I got this one. I love it, but the material they use on the inside of the bag is too loose and flimsy, and pulls away from the padding. This makes it hard for things to stay in place, and the dividers are good, but could be made of a stronger material. If I could change anything about the backpack, this would be it. Make the lining less flimsy, and the dividers more rigid. The string pulls attached to the zippers come apart if you dare use them, too. BUT, this is a great camera bag, and I suggest that if you are on a budget, get this, you will find my rant up there is not that big a deal over all. Shoot, if you aren't on a budget, get it anyway. The bag functions well as it. I just wanted to voice my opinion. This is all why I only gave it a 4 star rating overall.
