Awesome,

This review is from: Al Aqmar : A Living Testimony to the Fatemiyeen (Hardcover)
This book is an amazing piece of work. The watercolor paintings, photographs and the depth and insight with which the author has handled the subject is beyond compare. The Al-Aqmar masjid is like a secret book and the author has revealed the secrets of this building and explained every detail giving reasons. For example the masjid door is at 21 deg to the main street, the author explains its significance. However this book will be appreciated by those who have a love for Fatemid art architecture and literature. For those who love the lanes and by-lanes of Cairo. Other superflous readers may not be able to appreciate its merit. All in all - its a collector's item. Every cent worth!

This review is from: Al Aqmar : A Living Testimony to the Fatemiyeen (Hardcover)
This book is a fantastic piece of work by a Fatemi scholar. It fully explores all the physical aspects of Al Aqmar and links it to the rich Fatemi Ilm (Knowledge) of the Fatemi Era in which it was built. A must read for everyone who is interested in Fatemi architecture and theology!
