About the Author
MahTalat Etemad Moghadam Angha is from one of the oldest aristocrat families in Persia. Her grandfather Etemad Saltaneh served as a Minister for two regimes of the Gajar Dynasty and was the first newspaper publisher in Iran. Mrs. Angha was introduced to Sufism through the teachings of her husband (Hazrat Moulana Shah Maghsoud Sadegh Angha) a great Sufi of the 20th century and the teachings of her father-in-law Hazrat Mir Ghotbeddin Mohammad, a Sufi teacher in the Uwaiysi Tarighat. Her spiritual life has been one of service, devoting her life, wealth, and family fame to support Hazrat Shah Maghsoud and Uwaiysi Tarighat. In addition to publishing several books about Sufi history, Mrs. Angha's lifetime of outstanding achievement makes her an exceptional exemplar to women and sufis alike. She has been able to seamlessly meld spirituality and aristocracy, proving that pure devotion will smooth the path on the inner journey for all true passengers and fellow travellers.
