i purchased this fan to go in my bedroom. the entire room is done in ALABAMA so it goes well with everything.

it was a cinch to put up.

after removing the old fan and hangar-bracket, i installed the new hangar-bracket in the same place using the same holes as the old one.

i connected the wires (after shutting off the power to the room, of course) per the diagram. the hangar-bracket allows you to hand the fan motor while you wire it up. unlike the old days when you had to motor AND try to wire it at the same time. no more dead arms.

after wiring, i slid the bracket cap up and secured it using the supplied screws (2).

after that i installed the blades onto the blade mounts and installed the blade mounts onto the motor.

next i installed the light kit per the instructions (just two wires with push-on connectors). attached it with the supplied screws (3) and turned the power back on to the room.

flipped the switch and it works like a champ.

puts out a good volume of air in my little room (11' x 11').

i didn't use the supplied chain-pulls, though. i already had two ALABAMA pulls on the old fan so i just used those instead.
