First of all Cece is not for the average listener of gospel music. She is in a class all by herself. If you want a cd that will usher you into the presence of God, this is the one. From "Fill My Cup" to "King of Kings" reprise and all points in between. I so identified with "Alabaster Box" that it moved me to tears. Her rendition of "Comforter" also recorded by Vickie Yohe is wonderful. "It Wasn't Easy" finds me more thankful for the sacrifice that was made for me at Calvary. "Blessed, Broken and Given" is incredible. A lot of people are moved by the beats. I thank CeCe for being more concerned about how and why it is that we praise HIM. Absolute awesome body of work!

Cece comes again with a CD that ministers to the soul.From the first song "Fill My Cup" to the last " Blessed, Broken,& Given" this CD is a blessing. My favorite track is number 2 " King of Kings". Allow yourself the pleasure buy this CD and step into the pressence of an awesome God the Cece sings about! Take it from me,a former Detroiter ( and we know about Gospel music ) you can't go wrong with this CD. Enjoy the singing, enjoy the music, enjoy the worship and enjoy the ministry of Cece Winans! This woman is truly anointed of God and has an awesome voice, both singing and speaking the Word of God. I first heard "Alabaster Box", the title track, in Atlanta at WOMAN, THOU ART LOOSED and knew that I had to have the recording in my possession. She sang it live right there in the Georgia Dome, in front of 80,000 to 100,000 people and the recording hadn't been released yet. The song tied right into the conference and I came back refreshed and renewed. But the high point was the way Mrs. Winans-Love worshipped God as she sang "Alabaster Box", and she did so as if no one was in the room but her and God. I think that's what really makes this recording such a blessing and so anointed. I can't wait till I get mine. CeCe, you are loved and prayed for much.

CeCe Winans' "Alabaster Box" is one of the best CDs I have ever heard. From the very first track, she gives praise and thanks to our Lord and makes you smile the whole time she's doing so. By far, the best track is the title track "Alabaster Box." The first time I heard Ms. Winans sing this song, I was crying at the end of the song. This lady can SING and thanks to God for letting her do so.

HIS GIFT IS THE BEST HOLIDAY CD I HAVE HEARD THUS FAR! I CANT IMAGINE STARTING OUT THE NEW MILLINEUM WHITHOUT IT!I LOVE IT SO MUCH I HAVE BOUGHT SEVERAL OTHER ALBUMS OF CECE'S(AND HAVE BEEN JUST AS PLEASED)I HAD THE PLEASURE OF SEEING CECE AND LAMAR CAMPBEL AND THE SPIRIT OF PRAISE THIS HOLIDAY AND IM STILL IN AWE, SHE IS ABSOLUTELY STUNNING, MY HUSBAND AND I WERE AND STILL CONTINUE TO BE BLESSED BY HER MUSIC MINISTRY.

While everyone has always acknowledged Cece's gift as being one of the premier singers in ALL of music today, her last two albums have had a slant towards reaching a younger audience. "Alabaster Box" gives the more mature folks something to grasp, while it still remains accessable to Cece's younger fans. The fact that a variety of producers were involved, gives this CD a much more eclectic flavor. I highly recommend this CD as one of the best of the year!

I have enough years and enough experience to have heard everything, since I am open to all Christian/gospel music. But this album is simply beyond "good"..it is a jewel, a true jewel. I can't stop listening to each and every song over and over - yes, "Alabaster Box" is outstanding...but this entire CD is just a perfect example of a true artist.. how I wish I could express my praise in the singularly beautiful way CeCe does. I am profoundly blessed and grateful to be able to share as a listener this woman's faith and talent. Thank you, CeCe.

I purchased this album in 1999, I love the message through out this album. I love every song. CeCe sings with Confliction and Reflection. I cry when I first listened to this album. My Personal Favorite is Alabaster Box. I also give all these songs a Five Star Rating. Every song is ties into each other getting you to feel the mood CeCe was expressing. She is clearly devoted and proud to proclaim her Love for her God and Lord.I would encourage anyone who is looking for album to get them into the Praise & Worship or who is a new christian to purchase this album this will get you into the prescence of God and the Lord.

While I enjoy all the songs on Cece's latest CD, Alabaster Box speaks to my soul. I'm sure I'm not alone when I say there have been times when I've wanted to give my all to Jesus but was hesitant as to what others would say or do. The looks, the words, the smirks...I could hear them saying, "Who does she think she is coming to Christ? We know what she's done in her past. We know what she did yesterday." But recently I realized that what others think or say truly doesn't matter. It's all about my love for Him and most of all His love for me that matters. Now I'm not inhibited to stand and praise God. Now I'm not afraid of weeping during the service or while driving in my car when the magnitude of what Jesus has done for me overwhelms me. Now I stand boldly before the throne of God as His less-than-perfect but always loved and forgiven daughter. Thank you, Janice Sjostran for creating this song and thank you CeCe for allowing God to use your voice to speak to me and the many other women who have strayed and were so afraid to publicly demonstrate our love for Christ for fear of what others would say. Thank you for giving us the courage to say, "You weren't there the night He found me. You did not feel what I felt when He wrapped His loving arms around me. And you don't know the cost of the oil in my Alabaster box." Hallelujah, Praise be to God!!!!

This is the best album that CeCe has done by far. I mean this thing made me want to rededicate! It made me appreciate my salvation and just praise God for who he is and all that he is capable of doing. Every song on there could be a prayer. I recommend everybody to buy this.
