I purchased this tumbler for use during my daily work commute. I loved the color, size, and capacity The insulation is great but THE CUP LEAKS when it is tipped over. Thisw as definetly a dissapointment.

My girlfriend has a Starbucks travel mug that I've used once or
twice and I was amazed how long it kept coffee, I'm not gonna say
as hot as when I poured it, but almost, and for the two hours it
took me to drink it and they claim six hrs. She's had it for about
10 yrs.

Ever since I've been looking for something at least close. I'm afraid
they don't even make them anymore. This item was a letdown, lukewarm
coffee in 20 minutes after pour.

This is exactly what I was looking for. As it does not have a handle, it fits perfectly in the cup holder in my car and stays put through braking and turning sharp corners. It doesn't dribble when you drink from it like most travel mugs I've owned, and it keeps my coffee hot for as long as it takes to drink it (about 45 minutes). If you're looking for something to keep your coffee hot for four hours I suggest purchasing a Thermos. Oh, it's great for cold drinks too. I use mine for iced tea all the time.

My only slight gripe is that there is no tactile indicator to help determine how the mug is oriented with respect to the drinking hole in the lid. When you've got your eyes on the road and it's dark, you kind of have to feel around for the correct spot on the lid from which to drink. Some strategically placed little nubs on the rubber grip to aid in this purpose would be useful.

To counter some of the other reviewers who have complained that the mug leaks when it's tipped on its side; I don't believe this mug is really designed to be thrown into a gym bag, or laid on the seat of a car any more than a to-go cup from McDonalds is designed to do so. The little sliding lid--when in the closed position--can more than handle an accidental tipping, but you won't want to leave it on its side for long.

I for one am very happy with the purchase!

This was as close as I could get to a stainless steel water bottle at target and it's done really well for that purpose. I like the thickness of it- very durable. Also, my water tastes great and stays cold for quite some time. My only gripe is that I have to refill it quite often because I drink a lot of water. Anyway, it was a good intro to the taste of water in stainless steel- much better than plastic!

Wouldn't you know, the best item I've found to keep coffee hot, great grasping a hot mug,
non slip, sleek and clean, no leaks, tight and secure top, no odors or stains from coffee, tea or etc. and then they go and discontinue the product. What kind of business sense is this??? These decision makers need to be looking for another job. Good bye Aladdin!

I actually bought one of these over 2 years ago from a local store near me before I found it on Amazon. I never had a major problem with this particular insulated cup. Contrary to what is actually stated in the instructions, you can keep hot chocolate and other liquids containing milk in the cup but you need to rinse it out and clean it before the hot chocolate liquid dries up. It can cause a bit more spillage if filled up to the first thread, but filling it only up to an inch within the top of the cup seems to help fix this issue. It can get a bit too hot if you overheat the liquid that you put inside of it. It does keep drinks hot for a few hours, which works well enough for what I use it for. Just make sure that you have the top fully closed and screwed on tightly to keep the heat in the cup. If you leave the lid partially open, it can cause the drink to get cold much more quickly.

I have never had a major issue with this particular cup. I had to buy another one because I just lost mine and it works very well for keeping drinks hot to warm for at least 4 hours. I would recommend it if you are using it to keep a hot drink for the first few hours of the working day or only need a hot drink cup that needs to be kept warm for part of the day.

This tumbler is very sleek looking and insulates my coffee for about 2 hours. Not too bad. My only gripe is that it's not leak-proof. It doesn't claim to be, but this tumbler would be much improved if it was.

I was looking for a decent stainless steel insulated mug. (I don't like the taste of plastic ) It looks nice and feels good in the hand, but that's a good as it gets. Close the drink port and tip it to the side and your coffee starts comes out immediately from the "closed" sip port. I opened and closed it again and tried it several times (over a trash can) with the same result... coffee practically pouring out. It didn't insulate very well either

Maybe I got one from a bad batch? It looks like it should seal. (That is why I bought it. ) I'll try another one when I return it to Target and update this review with my findings.

I have had this tumbler for a while now and use it almost every day for work. I bought it to keep my water cold and it does a great job. Many times I have left it in the car in 80 to 90 degree heat for a couple hours while I see a movie after work and it keeps my water cool. Since the lid is plastic and not insulated, many times the water near the lid will become warm, but the water at the bottom remains cool. My main complaint is that it does leak when tipped so you will want to keep it upright. Also, it does not fit properly in my cup holder so I usually lean it against my leg while driving and, because of the leaking, I sometimes end up with a slightly wet leg when I make a turn. I actually would give this a 3.5 out of 5.

I actually purchased this mug because I had lost the lid to the one I already owned. I like this mug because it doesn't spill when you carry it, it holds a lot of coffee, and it keeps the coffee hot! It is great!
