My old Starbucks stainless travel mug has been bounced around too often and sits dangerously Pisa-like on the desk, so I ordered this really stylish number from Migo (I actually got the tall skinny one too for the car). I don't know what the folks who say it is a good insulator are drinking, but if they drink coffee out of this mug, they only have 20 minutes so they had better hurry. I have only had this beauty a couple of days and right from the first I noticed how quickly the outside gets warm.

One reviewer said he noticed it dented easily. While both of mine are all packed and ready to return, so I won't have them long enough to dent, I think the thin walls, and the fact I did not notice soon enough that there is no mention of the word "vacuum" in its description, are the reasons for easy denting and warm hands. It's really a shame because these mugs look better in person than in the ad. Looking around though, I found another here, at the Bezos General Store, by an outfit called "Timolino". I've never seen anything rated by 10 reviewers that had 50 stars. So I have it on order (and a tall one for the...well you know).

It seems almost silly to review a purchase as simple as a coffee mug, but I have enjoyed the mug immensely.

This mug is perfect for my office. It holds plenty of coffee and keeps it hot for a long time. The brushed stainless steel is pleasing to the eye. The rubber bottom keeps it from sliding, and the rubber on the inside of the handle insulates it and makes the mug easy to hold.

The top seals tightly, and, despite what some other reviews have stated, the top is easy to put on and take off.

Holds plenty of coffee/tea and keeps it warm for longer than my current mug, which is actually kind of unfortunate as I loved my prior mug (mug of vi, from thinkgeek :-( ).

I was concerned about problems with the cover because another review said it was hard to get off but that was completely unfounded. The cover screws off in a quarter turn and seems pretty sturdy.

All said, a very good mug. My only issue was that it dents very easily, but i can live with that.

This was almost exactly what I was looking for in a mug other than the part where when you drink from it liquid seaps from between the plastic lid and the metal mug part and dribbles down your shirt. This is a horrible joke of a product.

I admit that this mug keeps a hot beverage hot. However, within two weeks the screw top lid started leaking every time I took a drink. Tightening the lid did not help as the plastic threading strips out easily. My suggestion...keep shopping.

We bought two of these mugs and both lids leak from under the lid and the top of the mug unless screwed on so tight that the opening is opposite the handle or directly over the handle. Nice to drink out of without the lid though and it does insulate really well.

I bought this mug at Target - I wanted a nice-looking mug for home that would keep my tea hot for longer than it usually stays hot in a coffee cup. However - my tea cools off just as quickly as it would in a coffee cup! Also, when the tea is hot, I have to be very careful not to burn my lip on the metal just below the black plastic of the lid.

Waste of money. I will be taking it back!

I received this mug for Christmas and really like it. It fits my hand, fits my tea filter, holds enough tea, keeps tea hot, ...

However, with the lid screwed in place, it becomes a dribble mug. I checked the gasket, I checked the threads. All are smooth and have no irregularities. There was no tea debris that would cause a leak. I believe the problem is a design flaw.

I'll keep my mug, but forget using the lid. If you want a mug with a lid, look elsewhere.

Within a month of purchasing this product the handle became loose; loose enough that I feared it would come apart completely in my hand. Also, the slide-proof material on the bottom of this mug traps water (even if handwashing, which is recommended by the manufacturer). I had to remove it in order to clean and disinfect the underside. Finally, as if these problems were not enough for me to rue the day I made this purchase, unless you fit the top of the mug on just right (and one morning it took me at least 5 minutes) there will be a slight gap between the mug and the top which will result in a lovely pattern of coffee stains on your shirt. My advice: do not purchase this product!!!!!!

I bought both this mug and it's sister "Traveler" mug. The traveler holds the coffee hot for about 2 hours. This mug only holds it hot for about 1 hour. I think the larger area of uninsulated top that this mug has is the reason.

Neither mug is close to the old Migo travel mug that I have been using for several years.

Neither of these mugs will prevent a spill if you tip them over.
