The insulation is quite good, but the capacity of the cup is as stated, but for a cup that size, I wish it could hold more fluid. The chamber between the outside and inside plastic must be quite thick.

All in all, it is a good product with a nice design. The cup fits in a car's cup-holder and the straw can never be removed from the lid because there is a ring from the bottom end of the straw that prevents it from being taken out.

I love the company (Aladdin) for its vision. I did a bit of research to make sure that the plastic was BPA-free and surely, the company has health concerns in mind. Any portion of plastic that comes in contact with food or water is made of BPA-free plastic.

I recently got on a smoothie kick and have been making them for breakfast every morning before work. The problem was that I didn't have a cup that I could easily travel with--one with a lid and straw that would keep my smoothie cold. I stumbled upon this cup after searching for hours on Amazon and bought it on a whim. The result was the best travel smoothie cup I could imagine! I LOVE the handle on the lid (I can just grab it with one finger and go), I like that the lid screws onto the base rather than suctioning with a rubber seal (more secure), I like that it is double insulated (so it doesn't sweat), the plastic does not stain (from my blueberry smoothies) and the best part, it is dishwasher safe! I bought a Copco cup (hand wash only) at the same time that I bought this one and ended up giving it away because I didn't like having to hand wash it every night after work. This cup is fantastic--so much so, that I bought 2 more so I could rotate them daily while the dirty ones were in the dishwasher!

I received this tumbler as a Christmas present 3 or 4 years ago. I use it every night as my night time water glass. It has lasted all this time and is still in very good condition. I love the fact that the cover screws on and isn't just some kind of pressure seal. I do carry it by the handle in the cover and it has never come apart accidentally. The design is great.

The bottom of the tumbler says it can be put into a dishwasher, but I haven't done that. I wash it by hand in hot water and soap.

I bought 3 different BPA-free travel tumblers on Amazon last month. This one was the best.

All three are all priced within a few dollars of each other, and available for Free Super Saver Shipping and Amazon Prime. I have used them only for ice water and iced tea (black and herbal), and they hold no residual flavors, even with strong teas like peppermint. I cannot vouch for how any of them would fair with smoothies, soda, or coffee drinks.

Pros: Double wall reduces sweating, stays cold, tight-fit lid, looped top handle makes it easy to carry when my hands are full, lid is domed on the interior, which makes it easy to put on even if it's full and ice cubes are pushed up by the straw, looks very cool, fits in car cup holder, can be left at a 60 degree angle without spilling, eligible for Amazon's 4 for 3 promotion.

Cons: Only 16 ounces are insufficient for a very hot day.

VERY GOOD: 3 Pack of BPA Free 16oz To-Go Double Wall Plastic Tumblers with 6 Reusable Straws

Pros: Double wall reduces sweating, stays cold, look very much like real drinking glasses, lids are very secure, fit in a car cup holder, six straws included for the three cups in the package, 3 cups with 3 different color straws, eligible for Amazon's 4 for 3 promotion.

Cons: Lids are a little more difficult to put on because they are wider, the pink straw and the red straw look similar in dim light causing some bickering between my kids, only 16 ounces are insufficient for a very hot day.

Pros: 24 ounce capacity saves me trips back to the kitchen for refills, silicone band around the middle provides no slip grip, easier to see the color in dim light.

Cons: NOT double-walled so it sweats profusely and feels a lot less sturdy than the other 2, lid is a little more difficult to put on because they are wider, not eligible for the Amazon 4 for 3 promotion.

i have a habit of leaving my drinks all over the house, which i guess isn't such a big deal in general. The problem actually has to do with one of our cats. When he finds a cup sitting anywhere, he gets a kick out of either fishing for ice cubes, stealing straws, or if nothing else, sicking his paw in the liquid and licking it to see if he likes whatever it is. As humorous as i once found his antics, i now find them quite irritating. i am forever dumping out my drink to get a new glass because i left it in a room, and the cat is in that room, and i can't be sure his grubby little paw wasn't in my drink. And i have to say, cleaning up spills because he dumped the glass over while fishing for ice cubes or trying to pull a straw out is equally frustrating. Now i get get that this is totally my fault, don't get me wrong. But these cups totally solve my problem. Not only is there a lid, to keep the drink from spilling, but that lid fits properly so there is no leaking. And, as a bonus, you don't get any condensation on the outside of the cup. These are great cups all around.

This is my favorite water/iced tea cup that I have ever had. I love being able to carry this around by the handle and have a straw. I highly recommend!

I purchased two of these tumblers at the same time for use with smoothies on the go, so I can only comment on this as a cold drink carrier. If both tumblers worked, this would be a five-star product. I really like the one that functions as designed. The other tumbler does not seal properly; the lid seems to be warped so that it does not thread completely to screw into place and form a seal. This makes it pretty much useless, except as a straw replacement for the working tumbler. Both tumblers have been treated identically.

The overall design is good. The loop on the top makes it easy to grab and transport and the size makes it convenient to stash in a backpack pocket or cup holder. The larger straw diameter is helpful for my thick smoothies, and the and clever "stop" on the straw keeps it from pulling out in transit (or if you accidentally grab the straw instead of the lid). The 16-ounce size is just right for smoothies, but it may be inadequate for water (I prefer 24oz+ for that purpose). I think that the colors are attractive and modern and the wavy, clear cup is pleasing to the eye. I also appreciate that the double-wall design keeps it from sweating or chilling my hand. I would have purchased more if the quality control had been more consistent.

I love this cup and use it every day at work. I find it much more "graceful" to use a straw to sip than to invert a bottle or other container to take a slug of water. It is durable and of a solid weight (although it is plastic). If you knock it over, there is some spillage through the straw (easy to clean up). HOWEVER, it can only be cleaned on the top dishwasher rack (as it says on the bottom). My husband put my first one on the lower shelf and it melted. They are hard to find and I have yet to identify another product which is as well-made and convenient. I feel lucky to have found a replacement here and bought two - just in case.

"STOLE" this same cup from my daughter and, since I felt so guilty, I purchased two.....one to give back to my daughter and one to keep for myself! I am a mug/tumbler/thermos "freak" and I REALLY like this one! Great to take anywhere!!

I have epilepsy and have a tendency to spill things this tumbler is just what I wanted. I have purchased then from in store and never got the right color. This is exactly what I wanted.
