Versatile--don't limit yourself to salad!,

This review is from: Aladdin Lunch and Go Salad Set (Kitchen)
This has served as my lunch container for a couple of years now, no matter what I bring! It's fine for salad, but it also works great as a sort of bento lunch box. I've put sandwiches, rice, pasta, leftovers, couscous and all sorts of things in the bottom, using the top section for granola bars, bread, cookies, celery sticks, string cheese... whatever tasty stuff fits. I've also taken silicone baking cups and put them in the top section (lid still fits on fine!) for food like grapes, nuts, etc... The little container is great for sauces, condiments and stuff like mini gherkins, olives and so forth.

I have been trying to eat healthier - no more fast food lunches - and this lunchbox has been a big help. It is compact and much more pleasant to eat a salad from than a Tupperware container. The bottom section holds a generous portion of salad and seals tightly. The crisper is great if you want to add vegetables to your salad (and save the middle portion for other things) it keeps the salad from getting soggy.
The middle portion is a great place to put those items you might want to add to your salad later. Or, I use mine to take a cut-up apple or half of a sandwich. I haven't noticed any leaks with the provided cup (for salad dressings or dips) in my set. It is also, as another reviewer commented, a great way to take hummus and pita chips for lunch! When I do this, I simply put the salad dressing in the bottom of the bottom portion, add the crisper and then my salad. I can then use the cup for hummus. When I am ready for lunch, I remove the crisper and toss my salad in the dressing! At night, a simple run through the dishwasher is all it takes to get your lunchbox clean for the next day. I am extremely pleased with this lunchbox, and for the price, this lunchbox is a real steal.

I've used this now for over a week every day and its fabulous. I put a salad in the bottom, and add my carrots and tomatoes in the top, with hummus and pita triangles. It keeps everything cool and crisp. I carry it in the "built" tote and that probably helps with insulation.

The Aladdin lunch salad set can hold a decent quantity salad. The entire box closes well and keeps the salad fresh and crisp. Unfortunately, the dressing container leaks. Haven't used the cutting board, the crisper or the extra tray to separate the lettuce from other goodies one might want to combine with a salad.
