Awesome Travel Mug,
This review is from: Aladdin Senja Travel Mug 16oz (Kitchen)
It's a nice size cup that does a great job insulating. Cool sliding lid design that is convenient. My only complaint would be that it's not spill proof, but the lid holds well enough to "stir" my coffee by shaking, and hey, they never said it was spill proof.
The handle is comfy, and it still fits in my cup holders. (Audi) It's has a nice lip to drink from, and even the owner of the gourmet coffee store I frequent asked me what kind it was with a Jealous look in her eye. Very sharp looking. The lid screws on for both lefty and righty use. You can pour coffee right up to the top threads. I usually take the lid off when I get to work, and the smooth metal lip is still very comfy. (However, you get dribbles on the metal...) I found mine on closeout at Target for $4, and now I'm going to pay $20 for another one. Yeah, I like it alot. As an older seasoned caffeine addict, I have gone through my share of various travel mugs, and I'm getting a second one of these before they stop making them. (Eh, maybe the wife can borrow it.) Friends don't let friends go to Starbucks.

Hot, but not the winner,
This review is from: Aladdin Senja Travel Mug 16oz (Kitchen)
I bought this cup because I have had an earlier model for several years. The earlier Migo Travel Mug hold coffee hotter longer than any other thermal mug that I have ever owned. It holds coffee hot for at least 3 hours.
I needed a replacement though, because the handle on my old cup has come loose. This mug holds the coffee hot for about 2 hours.

The threads for the lid inside the top of the cup are stainless steel (just like the rest of the cup's body), and not a plastic insert like most cups, so this is one of the few insulated cups you'll find where you don't have to sip your beverage over any plastic surfaces, so no lousy plastic taste! (Assuming you don't use the plastic lid, of course.)
The cup keeps your beverage nice and hot. I see by other comments that it may not be totally leak proof, but because I don't use the lid, that is not a concern to me. Other comments say it may not fit your car cupholder... It fits mine just fine, so your mileage may vary. It is not an unusually-wide cup, so it's not like it has problems with the majority of cup holders. My only critique is that the handle is molded plastic and rubber, and the plastic edge is not terribly smooth, and water can get into the handle and drip here and there in an mildly annoying and unexpected way. But if you want hot, good-tasting, plastic-free coffee or tea and you don't need a lid, you really can't go wrong with this cup. It's a bit pricey, but it's worth it. I'm buying a second one.

Keeps beverages hot for a LONG time, but...,

The drinking lip could use some improvement. As I write this, I look down and see the coffee that just spilled on me, naturally a white shirt day. For whatever reason, it seems to trickle out of the lip a bit too easily.
I got the mug for fatheads day (Father's day). I asked for it based on another review here that said it fit into their Audi cup holder, as we have very narrow holders in the car. And it does fit in there nice and securely. Another complaint is that I put it into my insulated lunch bag at the end of the day to take everything home in one hand. There was a tiny bit of residual coffee in there as I use a french press to make my coffee, and you never drink the last sip with a press. I ended up with a mess in my lunch bag from the leakage from the mug. It looks like a nice mug, the handle is plastic though and is a different color tone than the mug itself. Guess they had to save money somewhere on the mug. My last mug was from Starbucks, very robust and nice mug. You could just never get the top off! 11/3/08 - Update - The handle is falling off the mug. Can't figure out how it goes back on. Will have to see how they handle warranty claims.

Given to me as a gift, the Migo 16 oz stainless steel cup is delightful. Rinse after use, because it is hard to reach bottom of interior surface to scrub clean.

good coffee cup,

I bought the "Aladdin" labeled version of this travel mug from Target. The price was close enough to the same. I then went home and started reading these reviews here and became worried that my coffee might leak or spill as people have said. I didn't have either of these issues. I screw the lid and the spout (or whatever you want to call it) down and hand tighten. I can turn it upside down and have very minimal leakage out of spout. I'm not sure if it will start to leak as time goes on but as long as the lid is threaded right and tight everything should be fine. Keeps coffee hot for 2-4 hours. I usually drink it all within 2 hours anyway. Not sure how long it keeps drinks cold yet. Will try once spring rolls around.

Best Travel Mug,

Best travel mug I've had. After one year (hand washing only) the lid seal still works with no dribbles. I will agree with the other's comments that the valve in the lid is not leak proof, so keep it vertical. It is well insulated and will keep my coffee hot for a couple hours. The stainless steel design has withstood many drops & dents. However, the screw in the handle just came loose, but I will be looking to buy the same mug again.

Great shape for Inner Tubes!,

I love to tube the river and this shape fits nicely into the beverage pocket on the tubes plus fits nicely in the car cup holder! I also have the 16 oz. squatty-body ones and I love them!
This company would do better to actually state they're stainless steel on the Care and Use insert inside the cups or the Sip In Style tags that come on them.

Great Mug!,

It has an elegant appearance for a travel mug and it insulates very well! What else do you need? It is not spill proof, you want drip free? Get a Copco Flair mug, it is amazingly well sealed! Both will just barely fit in a car cup holder! The Migo is comfortable to drink from with or without the lid, the Flair only with the lid on. Neither are top heavy and both are great mugs with metal interior and both can be left or right hand use. You want appearance, get the Aladdin, you want rugged looks and spill proof, the Copco Flair.

I have never seen a mug that will hold the heat longer than this mug. If I accidentally leave mine at work, I won't even drink my tea in the other mugs we have because they won't hold heat. I can't stand the luke warm taste. Unfortunately I have experienced a few spills with the non-leakproof lid. Otherwise, a perfect mug.
