This album is essential for any Something Happens fan, and highly recommended for any fan of Irish rock music. While some songs are better than others, there isn't a single bad track on the whole album. If you're looking for a change of pace from the mainstream of music these days, look no further than "Alan, Elvis & God" for strong guitar, fine vocals, driving percussion, and all of the classic elements of rock and roll. Or, if you'd rather have some slower songs, that's covered, too. You won't be disappointed.
