The almost perfect hidden camera,

The camera is great! as long as you use it during the day or in lighted spaces, at night with only the TV light, you will not see anything. The customer service of The Media warehouse though, it's the best. Took the time to explain everything to me, even after time of me receiving the clock. The clock is exactly the same as the one you see in the picture. Not a soul can suspect it's a camera. One review said that you couldn't use batteries, but only the wall cord. Maybe he purchased a different one, to the Media Warehouse one, you do have the option of using the batteries. The clock is already set up so the only thing you need to do is plug it and set up the time for the clock and it's the same for the camera, the insructions are there for you to do it, but when I got there, it was already done. The motion detector works like a charm!, you can set up the quality of the image, but it's good as long as you have light. The recordings are extremely easy to review, go to the date and the time and there it is! I not only recomend this product (unless you want to use the camera for dark spaces), but any other product you want to purchase from the media warehouse. Great, great customer service!!!

After reading positive reviews I wanted to give this a try. First, I couldn't get this to work on my computer. You have to download a codec pack and for whatever reason couldn't get one to download on my computer (which is 3 year old). I was able to download a codec pack on my husband's new Mac. The picture quality is good (which is why the 2 stars) my 2 biggest complaints are that 1) it records in 7 or 10 second spots so you have to constantly close and reopen a new movie. 2) once you delete the first batch, for whatever reason, it does not record in sequence so you will go to look at the videos and they will be all out of order - so annoying. So for me this isn't what I was looking for. For less than this price you can go to Logitech and buy an entire system that you can monitor online. I wish I had returned it within the 30 days now I have a very expensive clock.

Obviously it has to work, this one does. Also it must be discrete and it is. The good thing is the video card they provide just snaps into place and the movies start recording, there is no need to do anything. The range of vision is not bad either. Video quality is ok and there is no audio.
The conversion is the hardest part, the file format is not readily played on most video devices. I payed a good amount of money for this product but it did not dissapoint and I was able to view the things I needed to observe, I feel safer with this device.
