it's a good tool because it will alarm you when someone wants to get in your property

Iron Clad Alarm Security Bar - Door Jam Bar This product does not work at all. There is no working connection between the product and the door handle. You must squeeze the plastic battery cover in order to get a connection and a buzzing sound or barking sound that you can barely hear. A burglar could easily push through the door because the base of the bar is only about 3...

Iron Clad Alarm Security Bar - Door Jam Bar This product does not work at all. There is no working connection between the product and the door handle. You must squeeze the plastic battery cover in order to get a connection and a buzzing sound or barking sound that you can barely hear. A burglar could easily push through the door because the base of the bar is only about 3 1/2 inches and does not create any type of barrier. I was very disappointed in the product.

i purchased 3 of these and the alarm does not do a thing. save yourself money and buy a simple door prop instead.

The idea is wonderful...the product is not. The base of the bar slides out and allows the door to open. I trusted Amazon to link themselves with reputable products. A great waste of time for me. I guess I could use the bar to hit a burglar over the head and for this purpose I rate it a 1 on a scale of 10 not 5.

I ordered this item (Alarm Security Bar with Audio Alert, Model# 82-5054) as a gift for my daughter and when she installed the "electronic alarm with the gimmick barking dog, it does not work". I contacted the vendor and got a RA number, BUT I have to pay for the return shipping cost! When it is a supplier's problem the supplier should pay and not the customer. Amazon should not deal with suppliers that practice this kind of business. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.
