Eros Ramazzoti is back with another fantastic production called "Alas Y Raices", a great album full of amazing tunes perfomed with the elegant voice of Eros. The signature song of the album is "Dimelo a Mi", which is the first single, and it a great song, and easily places itself between Eros' best creations. "Apuntes y Notas" is highly recommended, because is has a surprising sound and to me it's the best non-single song in the album. Eros once again sings to love in songs like "Flor Inesperada" and "El Horizonte", only in the way he can. There are more cheerful songs like "Afectos Personales" and "No podemos cerrar los Ojos". The song "Alas y Raices" is another fantastic tune full of harmony, that reminds me of "Calma Aparente". I wouldn't say it the best album of Eros, but it is pretty enjoyable. If you are an Eros fan, or if you like his music enough, then this is a must-own. Eros is simply one of the best Italian singers of all time.

My favorite singer of all times does it again. As always, Eros brings us songs about love and human condition. He is able to transmit emotion like no other singer. His uniquely passionate nasal voice is so comforting and serene. He transmits, even in his sad songs, an uplifting and positive spirit. And, while his songs in spanish sometimes are a bit lost in translation, they are so full of emotion that words no longer matter.

My favorite in this CD is "Dimelo a mi" (Talk to me), which indirectly criticizes the modern digital world where people have lost the art of conversation.. saying that many of our troubles are only healed when we talk face to face with the people we care about. Another favorite is "Nosotros Incluidos" (We included), a song about realizing that we are all at fault for the problems of the world, and we can no longer be blind to them...

Other favorites are "El Horizonte" (The Horizon), which is probably the most romantic, "Contra el viento" (Against the wind) which speaks of the end of a relationship and "Afectos Personales," a very cute song about the importance of friendship.

One thing I have noticed is that his songs have slowly migrated from pure love songs to ones that speak of universal emotions, and the troubles of the world we live in.. Those looking for mere love songs will be disappointing. Eros has changed, what we are listening to now is a more mature and uplifting Eros who is attune with all human emotions.

Mi cantante favorito nos ha vuelto a deleitar con su voz unica, y con canciones de amor y de la condicion humana. Aun en sus canciones tristes, Eros sabe transmitir un positivismo como ningun otro cantante. En momentos sus canciones se pierden un poco en la traduccion, pero de igual manera transmiten la emocion de la version original.

Mi cancion favorita del disco es "Dimelo a mi" que habla del mundo moderno y digital que nos ha hecho olvidar el arte de la conversacion. Y muchos de nuestros dolores solo se sanan cuando hablamos con la gente que nos quiere. Otra favorita es "Nosotros Incluidos" que nos dice que no podemos estar ciegos a los problemas del mundo, en los que nosotros estamos incluidos.

Otras son "El Horizonte," que es quiza la cancion mas romantica del disco, "Contra el viento" sobre el final de una relacion y "Afectos personales" que habla de la importancia de la amistad.

El que busca solo nuevas canciones de amor en este disco se va a decepcionar. He visto el progreso y la madurez de Eros a traves de su musica. Sus canciones que eran netamente de amor, ahora son mas de todas las emociones de ser humano y los problemas del mundo.

Eros nuevamente nos sorprende. Un disco bastante variado, con canciones originales y de diversos temas. La orquesta es magistral sobre todo en Apuntes y Notas, destacan también Dimelo a mi, Afectos Personales y por supuesto Flor Inesperada. Excelente de principio a fin.

This should be an alternative title to this production since this time there is not a duet in "Alas y Raices" and there is nothing negative about that it just that you kind expect at least one colaboration after his last production has so many of them. This production it's full of universal love deliver with a unique voice Eros's voice.

Solamente Eros
Este podria ser un titulo alterno para esta producción debido a que no hay duetos en Alas y Raices. Esto no es necesariamente algo negativo es solo que en yo espera al menos un dueto ya que en "E2" (produccion anterior) había muchas colaboraciones. La producción de "Alas y Raices" está llena de canciones de amor universal entregadas con una voz única, la voz de Eros.

I don't know how to describe this great musician. I think that something important to say is that I'm able to speak Italian because of his music. I don't know what he does but his songs are not the classic "POP". He actually describes human feeling as no one else does. What I mean? Songs like "Sta Passando Novembre"(a song that talks about suicide). In this album all songs are great but there are some special songs, at least for me a person who suffers from depression, that I found truly special.

These songs talk about someone who is trying to on in Life even if everything seems so hard, It can be about love or any other goal.

"Come Gioelli"/"Como un tesoro": It talks about the beauty of a children's smile or a mother's kiss, about the real treasures of Life.

"Parla con me"/"Dímelo a mí": I find this one truly special because of my condition (depression). It talks about someone who is having so many problems and needs someone to listen to him...

There are other several beautiful songs. This CD is a piece of art.
