My husband and I "went fishing" in Alaska for 15 years as trollers. We loved reading this book and found it very realistic as to what we experienced as new to the water, boats and commercial fishing. Upton is a very good storyteller. The book arrived in a timely manner and in excellent shape.

5.0 out of 5 stars Alaska Blues, December 24, 2010
This review is from: Alaska Blues: A Story of Freedom, Risk and Living Your Dream (Paperback)
I first read this book 30 years ago when I was in my twenties. I must say the images and the way of life has stuck with me. Joe Upton did a great job of telling his story. One that I will never forget.
