5.0 out of 5 stars The Old Road to Alaska, August 31, 2011
Alaska Highway Journal takes the reader back to the time when the "ALCAN" roadway was still gravel. The diary is a low key telling of adventures along the highway as well as in Alaska from the Arctic Circle south to the Inland Waterway. It is an interesting time travel. However, for photos of the adventure one would have to obtain the print copy of the book which is available from Amazon.
