Used in a 2nd grade classroom doing a unit on the Iditarod. Kids loved reading the story and coloring the cute (but not cutesy) pups. Teacher loved the age-appropriate vocabulary lists and websites for further info that were included with the book. Published by the Park Service at Denali it invites kids to come visit "their" dog teams. Although this is not an Iditarod coloring book, it has lots of good info about dog-mushing and dog teams in general. Both child-friendly and educational! Will buy again next year.
