We bought this as a birthday gift and the recipient loved it! The quantity was large enough to share 2 packs with the family this Easter and have 1 reserved for later.
The recipient said the salmon tasted delicious and was a perfect choice for a birthday gift.
We highly recommend this product for gift giving and it makes the perfect gift when you just don't know what to buy! Great deal, too!

This is not the bright red, thinly sliced, extremely salty smoked salmon I'm used to eating. This is more like dry-cooked marinated salmon. It was a big disappointment.

Shipped fairly quick and was packaged nice. The salmon was ok. Not great or what I would consider better than what you can get at a good food outlet. If you live in a big city with options, then your better of getting it there. One item...they leave the skin on, so the flesh absorbs a lot of the smell and oils from the skin. If you're thinking of gravlox, or fish cured in that manner, this is not for you.

Everyone who received this gift thought that the smoked Salmon was delicious. I would send this to those who appreciate fine food without a single hesitation. Different seasonings and the three boxes make for a long lasting treat.

This was sort of ok salmon, somewhat dry, the shipping was fast though. My dog loved it...

I sent these to my 87 year old father for a birthday gift and he has raved about them. Everytime I called and he had eaten one of them he said they were excellent. We've lived around the world, including Alaska and he thought they ranked up there with fresh caught Salmon

This was some of the best salmon I've had. After taking a trip to Alaska earlier this year, we were going through salmon withdrawal ... and this 3-pack took care of our cravings! We had a New Year's feast of salmon, crackers, cheese, and champagne -- it doesn't get better than that!

I bought this 3 pack assuming it was 3 8 ounce packages, but the ad never said an amount. After 10 days of shipping (not refrigerated)I found the boxes said eight ounces. In fact, the sealed package did weigh about 8 ounces each...including packaging and a very very very liberal amount of liquid. The first salmon weighed 6 ounces without the liquid. the second was nearly 7 and the third was 6.5 ounces. I tried to leave feedback with one star, but Amazon refused me to do so unless I contacted the company. Well, a week and the company hasn't contacted me back. the salmon was good, (one was better than the others....but, man, I paid a lot of money for 6 ounces of damn salmon. go to trader Joe's...Maybe don't buy food from amazon,.....and I had to put two stars to get this review posted. AMAZON, you have lost me as a customer.

Amazon asked me to edit my post: well, the last package was tasteless..total crap. I figure I paid about $30 a pound and I feel very ripped off. go to Whole Foods or someplace else. This company seems to just want to make a score on amazon.

We understand from the two recipients that it was delicious and well presented. The only problem with the gifts was there was no indication who had given them. When I placed the order I kept expecting a Gift Card to appear, but suddenly the purchase was complete and gone! Had we not told them about it they never would have known since no name appeared on the label either!

Arrived in a timely manner and tastes great. What more could we ask? Free shipping? got that too.
