We had been in Alsaska this Summer and had seen the book there. It is delightful and amazing. If you enjoy creative photography of animals in the wild..it's a must!

Alaska's wild-open spaces include some of the most spectacular collections of wildlife to be found in North America. Each year, hundreds of thousands of visitors pass through Alaska hoping for a few good glimpses. Unfortunately, actual sightings may be a function of weather, timing, and just plain luck.Fortunately, Alaska nature photographer Steven Kazlowski's 2004 "Alaska Wildlife Impressions" makes a good consolation prize for those visitors (and more than a few residents) who are unlucky in their viewing. The patient Mr. Kazlowski has captured Alaska's principal species, from ground squirrels to Brown Bears, in magnificant color photography. Here are grizzlies, black bears, moose, caribou, wolves, wolverines, marmots and other species at play in Denali, Katmai, and Kenai National Parks, among other choice locations. There is no charge for the included superb scenery. "Alaska Wildlife Impressions" is very highly recommended to those who travel to Alaska, and those who plan to, some day. |
