This field guide was very useful during our recent inspection of our Alaskan property. It's small size makes it easy to carry during hiking, and it contains all the most common animals you might see throughout the state.

I carried this on a two week tour of Alaska and found it very useful for quick identification. I bought the bird one in Alaska and was constantly loaning it to everyone on the tour. These are great because they are small and easy to carry but also laminated to stand up to shoving in hip packs and knapsacks.

These are the best thing to make you study the surrounding of which you visit. I have all of the Alaska pocket naturalist subject now. I love them.
