Good for the Big Picture of Where to Go,
By
This review is from: Alaska Wildlife Viewing Guide (Wildlife Viewing Guides Series) (Paperback)
This statewide guide is helpful in the early stages of planning a trip to Alaska that includes wildlife viewing (and what trip doesn't?); however, if you are going to Alaska's Inside Passage or the Kenai Peninsula, you will find the Alaska Department of Fish and Game's more recent regional wildlife viewing guides provide a better level of detail.
For the Kenai Peninsula check out the 2007 Alaska's Kenai Peninsula Wildlife Viewing Trail Guide. For Alaska's Inside Passage check out the 2006 Alaska's Inside Passage Wildlife Viewing Guide.

This is a great little book to take on a trip! It is the only wildlife guide we will need to pack (well, birdbooks, but).
