Great for making chopped salads! You wouldn't believe the compliments I get on my tuna and egg salads; and I would swear it was in-part due to the Ulu Knife. I like to chop/cut my solids (tuna, onion, celery, etc.) separately; and then when I have combined them I cut-through them once again w/the Ulu Knife. I really think it melds the flavors and makes the texture turn-out perfectly. Many people have asked me if I purchased my salads at upscale delis - the secret is IN my Ulu! I've given this as a gift too; it was really appreciated.
