This review is from: Alaska's Great Race [VHS] (VHS Tape)
This is the true story of Susan Butcher, her life and her Iditarod Dog Sled Races in Alaska. The first few moments of the movie will capture your attention for the rest of the movie. It shows the dog sled race, her dog farm with 160 dogs, her wedding, her wins, and how she uses her notarity on behalf of charities and public service messages. It also shows how women have been accepted or not accepted in a traditionally all male race. This is an excellent movie. I showed it to two of my classes and they enjoyed it too.
